The crowd rose to their feet as Maurício Meireles kicked a wonderful shot that went in to the left of a diving Wesley de Queirós. That made the score 1-0 in the 6 minute of play. Genílson Porto might have been able to make a better finish in the 10th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Wesley de Queirós. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Genílson Porto ran back to his position shaking his head. Raúl Teles kicked well hit freekick during the 12th minute of the match. In the 15th minute, Iuri Damião hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. In the 24thth minute of the game Lenílson Dracena who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Japira's Wesley de Queirós was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. If Lenílson Dracena had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 36th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Japira's goalkeeper couldn't reach when Maurício Meireles 40 minutes into the game got a good kick on the ball which found its way into goal just inside left pole. 2-0. Genílson Porto blasted a shot towards the goal in the 44th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Wesley de Queirós having to make a save. No-one was surprised that the home team were leading 2-0 at half-time.

Wesley de Queirós made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Maurício Meireles in the 59th minute of play. If Genílson Porto had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 64th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Iuri Damião kicked well hit freekick during the 67th minute of the match. Maurício Meireles might have been able to make a better finish in the 70th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Wesley de Queirós. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Maurício Meireles ran back to his position shaking his head. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Lenílson Dracena in the 70th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Wesley de Queirós saved Japira from getting behind. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Lenílson Dracena in the 72nd minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Wesley de Queirós prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Maurício Meireles received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 73rd minute. Wesley de Queirós tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Maurício Meireles fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 77th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Wesley de Queirós having to interfere. A collision led to Japira getting a freekick after 79 minutes play. Raúl Teles hit a great ball. Wesley de Queirós stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Lenílson Dracena's shot from short distance in the 82nd minute. Maurício Meireles blasted a shot towards the goal in the 84th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Wesley de Queirós having to make a save. 87 minutes into the game, Lenílson Dracena cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 3-0. Wesley de Queirós was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. In the 90th minute, Francisco Zilles hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. The supporters of Japira booed when SamamBayern FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 93 match minutes in a wonderful position. Genílson Porto didn't get a good kick on the ball. Wesley de Queirós showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Maurício Meireles, who was totally free with the ball in the 95th minute. When Lenílson Dracena came up free with the goalie in the 97th minute, the SamamBayern FC fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Lenílson Dracena couldn't finish the play. Wesley de Queirós made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Genílson Porto in the 98th minute of play. When the referee ended the match the SamamBayern FC players were able to celebrate. They had won a fair victory and recieved the ovations of their fans.
