If Edmundo Furtado had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 15th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Andrézinho Silveira in the 17th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Luís Gustavo Dantas prevented the ball from getting in the gole. If Andrézinho Silveira had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 21st minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Luís Gustavo Dantas stood somewhat misplaced when Andrézinho Silveira came free in front of goal and shot 4-0 to the left of him in the 25 minute. Thanks to some nice moves Juarês Mandrak could shoot a difficult shot in the 29th minute, which Luís Gustavo Dantas however easily saved by the left post. In the 31st minute, Andrézinho Silveira got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Juarês Mandraks short, quick shot in the 38thth minute got Luís Gustavo Dantas to make great effort and bar the ball away from getting in. Luís Gustavo Dantas was out of position in the 40 minute of play, and Andrézinho Silveira capitalized on the mistake with a soft shot into the goal. Andrézinho Silveira really showed his touch with that goal: 5-0. Luís Gustavo Dantas showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Andrézinho Silveira, who was totally free with the ball in the 46th minute. Esporte Clube Serrasul's Rafael Sá proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 64th minute of the match, managed to save Esporte Clube Serrasul from getting a goal against them. Luís Gustavo Dantas took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Andrézinho Silveira, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Vladimir Abraão charged in rather forcefully in the 89th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. André Cearense took a chance and fired a shot far from the goal in the 91st minute, but it turned out to be a dangerous situation for Luís Gustavo Dantas. Etanois FC's goalkeeper really had to stretch himself to stop the ball from crossing the goal line. After 93 played minutes Esporte Clube Serrasul got a freekick which was hit by Kléberson Nogueira. In the 97th minute Andrézinho Silveira shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Luís Gustavo Dantas saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Esporte Clube Serrasul's supporters were delighted with their team's performance and swarmed onto the pitch at the end of the match to celebrate the victory with the players.
