Spectators: 5000 (Terracing: 4000, Seating: 1000, VIP seats: 0) It was fairly windy and cold on the field when Betão Vidal kicked off to start the match. Cauan de Souza fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 11th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Sandrinho Guimarães having to interfere. João Pedro Pombal could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 12th minute of the match, but Sandrinho Guimarães made a huge save. 16 minutes into the match, Moraes's goal looked a bit too open when Betão Vidal came free, but Pedro Augusto Rosado reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. After a defensive mix-up in Moraes's zone, Juninho Tepedino stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Pedro Augusto Rosado came out of the goal and Juninho Tepedino tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. After 22 played minutes Martins FC got a freekick which was hit by Betão Vidal. João Pedro Pombal sent away a hard shot on goal in the 24th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. 35 minutes into the match, Martins FC's Geovani Botelho sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Pedro Augusto Rosado narrowly saved just below the crossbar. With his leg Sandrinho Guimarães managed to avoid a goal in the 39thth minute, when Moraes's João Pedro Pombal fired away a shot with a lot of spin towards his right hand side. Emílio de Carvalho blasted a shot towards the goal in the 44th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Sandrinho Guimarães having to make a save. After fighting hard for a draw in the first half, the players were able to take a much needed rest.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell João Pedro Pombal to make the kick off. Martins FC's Geovani Botelho got a good chance for a goal in the 53rd minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. When Jonathan Pitta fell near the penalty area in the 55th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Moraes's protests and gave Jonathan Pitta a yellow card for diving instead. In a very dangerous position, a player in Moraes fell when an opponent tried to get the ball from him in the 55th minute. Penalty! 62 minutes into the match, Martins FC's Geovani Botelho sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Pedro Augusto Rosado narrowly saved just below the crossbar. If João Pedro Pombal had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 66th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. When Nelson Bittencourt fell near the penalty area in the 71st minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Martins FC's protests and gave Nelson Bittencourt a yellow card for diving instead. Nelson Bittencourt hit a great freekick 71 minutes into the match. The throw-in from Percival Luz in the 73rd minute of the game was unfortunally taken care of by Moraes's Emílio de Carvalho. A collision led to Martins FC getting a freekick after 74 minutes play. Betão Vidal hit a great ball. In the 75th match minute, Martins FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Betão Vidal to maneuver through the defense. João Pedro Pombal fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 85th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Sandrinho Guimarães having to interfere. Emílio de Carvalho struck a weak shot in the 87th minute. Sandrinho Guimarães didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Moraes. The supporters of Martins FC booed when Moraes was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 88 match minutes in a wonderful position. Acácio Ferreira didn't get a good kick on the ball. 92 minutes into the match, Geovani Botelho notched a goal, 0-2, to the right of Moraes's Pedro Augusto Rosado. Pedro Augusto Rosado was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. In the 97th match minute, Moraes was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Danilo de Sena to maneuver through the defense. The Moraes manager could be seen shouting at his players as they walked down the tunnel after the match. He was clearly angry that they had squandered their superior possession, allowing Martins FC to win.
