Spectators: 5000 (Terracing: 4000, Seating: 1000, VIP seats: 0) The field was rather wet after several days of rain when Fellipe de Queiroz took the kick off in the first half of the match. After 4 minutes of play, Lucuri's Telmo Sena made it 1-0 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Doriva Mineiro was left in no man's land by his defense there! In the 7th minute Fellipe de Queiroz shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Cafu Valle saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Fellipe de Queiroz received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 8th minute. Cafu Valle tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Cafu Valle stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Dênis Maranhense's shot from short distance in the 10th minute. Cafu Valle took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Dênis Maranhense, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Telmo Sena received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 17th minute. Doriva Mineiro tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. A collision led to Lucuri getting a freekick after 19 minutes play. Claudinei de Lara hit a great ball. Arlindo Travassos kicked well hit freekick during the 25th minute of the match. Lucuri's Cafu Valle played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Dênis Maranhense in the 27th minute of play. Fellipe de Queiroz struck a weak shot in the 28th minute. Cafu Valle didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Avenida. Cafu Valle took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Fellipe de Queiroz, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Lucuri's Alberto Amaral got a good chance for a goal in the 33rd minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Avenida's Doriva Mineiro proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 39th minute of the match, managed to save Avenida from getting a goal against them. Telmo Sena sent away a hard shot on goal in the 40th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. In the 42ndth minute of the game Telmo Sena who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Avenida's Doriva Mineiro was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Doriva Mineiro made a fantastic save in the 48th minute, when Alberto Amaral sent off a good shot on target. When the referee blew for the end of the half the home team players were clearly happier, as they went in to the break leading 1-0.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Telmo Sena to make the kick off. Zé Augusto Cerezo's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Cafu Valle read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 51st minute of play. Avenida's Doriva Mineiro played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Alberto Amaral in the 55th minute of play. In the 57th minute, Cauan Tavares hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. 59 minutes into the game, Avenida's Fellipe de Queiroz nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Cafu Valle made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 1-1. In the 62ndth minute of the game Telmo Sena who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Avenida's Doriva Mineiro was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Alberto Amaral received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 66th minute. Doriva Mineiro tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Tiago Gabriel de Lara kicked well hit freekick during the 70th minute of the match. João Francisco Fantini fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 76th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Cafu Valle having to interfere. If Fellipe de Queiroz had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 80th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Dênis Maranhenses short, quick shot in the 82ndth minute got Cafu Valle to make great effort and bar the ball away from getting in. Fellipe de Queiroz fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 84th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Cafu Valle having to interfere. Fellipe de Queiroz received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 93rd minute. Cafu Valle tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Doriva Mineiro showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Telmo Sena, who was totally free with the ball in the 96th minute. For all the effort they put into the match, the Avenida players left disappointed. They had fought hard, but couldn't break down the home team's defense. The match ended in a win for Lucuri.
