Spectators: 5000 (Terracing: 4000, Seating: 1000, VIP seats: 0) Edgard Sampaio started the match with the kick off in front of an excited audience. Ian Velasco took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Claudinei Lira, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Giovanni Prado charged in rather forcefully in the 12th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Giovanni Prado the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. After a defensive mix-up in Aroazes's zone, Claudinei Lira stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Ian Velasco came out of the goal and Claudinei Lira tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. After having played for 26 minutes, Washington Campidelis managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Aroazes's supporters crossed their fingers, but Washington Campidelis was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. In the 28th minute, Washington Campidelis ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Telmo Lima was frozen by the shot and now it was 1-1. An unexpectedly hard shot by Nando Rosado in the 31st minute of play forced Aroazes's goalkeeper Ian Velasco to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Telmo Lima made a fantastic save in the 33rd minute, when Washington Campidelis sent off a good shot on target. In the 34th minute Silas Rosado shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Ian Velasco saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. 35 minutes into the match, Aroazes's goal looked a bit too open when Silas Rosado came free, but Ian Velasco reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. 51 minutes into the match, Aroazes's goalkeeper Ian Velasco had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Claudinei Lira. 52 minutes into the match, Ravena FC's Silas Rosado sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Ian Velasco narrowly saved just below the crossbar. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Valdomiro de Senna during the 59th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. A collision led to Aroazes getting a freekick after 59 minutes play. Valdomiro de Senna hit a great ball. If Edgard Sampaio had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 68th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. After 69 minutes of play, Aroazes's Washington Campidelis made it 2-1 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Telmo Lima was left in no man's land by his defense there! Washington Campidelis sent away a hard shot on goal in the 88th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Telmo Lima showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Edgard Sampaio in the 90th minute of the match.
