Spectators: 5000 (Terracing: 4000, Seating: 1000, VIP seats: 0) The sun was shining, the grass was green and the audience cheered when Nicolas de Salles got the match started through his kick off. Dida Braga fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 4th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Noel da Cunha having to interfere. In the 9th minute, Zé de Brito made a precise shot to the right of Noel da Cunha. Sauia SS's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 0-1. Dida Braga recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 19th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. When the match had gone on for 24 minutes, Dida Braga put it in 0-2 from a short distance just to the right of Noel da Cunha. In the 27thth minute of the game Dida Braga who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Sauia SS's Noel da Cunha was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Sauia SS's Noel da Cunha played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Dida Braga in the 29th minute of play. In the 33rd minute Zé de Brito shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Noel da Cunha saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Dida Braga might have been able to make a better finish in the 34th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Noel da Cunha. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Dida Braga ran back to his position shaking his head. After 35 played minutes Sauia SS got a freekick which was hit by Nicolas de Salles. Dida Braga struck a weak shot in the 46th minute. Noel da Cunha didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Janaúba F.C. Nicolas de Salles recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 47th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Disappointed in the 0-2 score, the home team went to the dressing room to adjust tactics for the second half.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Dida Braga to make the kick off. Sauia SS's defense didn't have a chance, in the 53rd minute, when 陈风宁 scored to the left of an out of position Noel da Cunha, making the score, 0-3. Sauia SS's Noel da Cunha proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 58th minute of the match, managed to save Sauia SS from getting a goal against them. Dida Braga received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 60th minute. Noel da Cunha tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Claudinei Zanette during the 64th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. One of Sauia SS:s players had nearly got his shirt torn off by an opponent while getting free in front of Janaúba F.C:s goal. Cauã Pires walked up to take care of the penalty kick. He was aiming for the top corner, but the ball went just outside the post. The audience thought a goal was coming when Zé de Brito got free with Noel da Cunha in the 69th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. If Zé de Brito had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 81st minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Nicolas de Salles charged in rather forcefully in the 83rd minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Nicolas de Salles the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. With his leg Noel da Cunha managed to avoid a goal in the 90thth minute, when Janaúba F.C's Zé de Brito fired away a shot with a lot of spin towards his right hand side. When Zé de Brito came up free with the goalie in the 92nd minute, the Janaúba F.C fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Zé de Brito couldn't finish the play. Janaúba F.C's players went to the stands to thank the travelling support. The fan's backing had helped spurr the team on to a fine performance that won them the match.
