Spectators: 5000 (Terracing: 4000, Seating: 1000, VIP seats: 0) The field was rather wet after several days of rain when Andon Gushterov took the kick off in the first half of the match. The supporters of Chutaí booed when Vila Xurupita was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 2 match minutes in a wonderful position. Inge Alacuart didn't get a good kick on the ball. 5 minutes into the match, Vila Xurupita's goal looked a bit too open when Lúcio Amaral came free, but Dênis Couto reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Dênis Couto made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Andon Gushterov in the 8th minute of play. With a little luck, Chutaí's Paulo Sarmento got control of the ball when Geovânio Neiva tried to sneak it across the goal line. Paulo Sarmento made an important save on a dangerous shot by Geovânio Neiva in the 16th minute. Paulo Sarmento took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Geovânio Neiva, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. The crowd rose to their feet as Vila Xurupita's Dorian Salgado slotted home a wonderful shot that went in to the left of Paulo Sarmento. That made the score 1-0 after 23 minutes of play. He put a little to much spin on the ball and sent it just wide of the right post. After 33 played minutes Chutaí got a freekick which was hit by Lúcio Amaral. After a very even first half the match was still tied. The players went to their respective dressing rooms to discuss the tactics for the second half.

The wind increased when Dorian Salgado made the kick off in the second half. Paulo Sarmento showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Dorian Salgado in the 52nd minute of the match. When the match had gone on for 54 minutes, Dorian Salgado put it in 2-1 from a short distance just to the right of Paulo Sarmento. In the 56th minute, Luisinho Almeida hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Ruy Pitta's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Paulo Sarmento read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 60th minute of play. Chutaí were furious when Adelino Freire was red carded, 65 minutes into the game, but the referee dismissed their protests. Adelino Freire hit a great freekick 66 minutes into the match. Geovânio Neiva sent away a hard shot on goal in the 67th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance.
