Toninho Cosme didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Rômulo Carvalho went, in the 21st minute, to the upper right corner, 2-0 was the resulting score. 23 minutes into the match, Majuria SS's goal looked a bit too open when Edmundo Mello came free, but Daniel Maia reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. The audience was convinced that Tiago Trancoso's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Toninho Cosme was relentless in the 32nd minute of the game.
