After having played for 42 minutes, Fiori Catarinense managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Piraputanga SS's supporters crossed their fingers, but Fiori Catarinense was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. An unexpectedly hard shot by Marcus Queirós in the 45th minute of play forced Ragazinskas FC's goalkeeper Yan Velasco to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. The wind increased when Ireno Castillo made the kick off in the second half. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Ireno Castillo in the 51st managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Abel Arce saved Piraputanga SS from getting behind. 52 minutes into the game, Fernão do Valle was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Ragazinskas FC's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Piraputanga SS the free kick. After a rather tough play, Ragazinskas FC's Fernão do Valle got a free kick in the 52nd minute.
