Arcanjos's Ismael Silva played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Caco Félix in the 22nd minute of play. 26 minutes into the match, Jânio Coutinho had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Ismael Silva. Arcanjos's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Jânio Coutinho was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 0-1. Ricardo Guedes showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Narciso Cardoso in the 29th minute of the match. 33 minutes into the game, Betão Varela was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. In the 86thth minute of the game Narciso Cardoso who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Muruja's Ricardo Guedes was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. After 90 minutes, Miguel Fernandes mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Arcanjos and the Muruja players grew even worse after the yellow card. In the 90th minute, Miguel Fernandes hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Ricardo Guedes took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Emílio Borges, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side.
