Spectators: 6710 (Terracing: 5000, Seating: 1660, VIP seats: 50) The field was rather wet after several days of rain when Allan Carvalho took the kick off in the first half of the match. In the 3rd minute Váldson Lopes shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Álvaro Vasconcelos saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. An unexpectedly hard shot by Adolfo Varela in the 10th minute of play forced Cruz De Mal's goalkeeper Hílton Corrêa to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Álvaro Vasconcelos took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Gino Rocha, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Hílton Corrêa made an important save on a dangerous shot by Allan Carvalho in the 16th minute. Vicente de Souza received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 18th minute. Hílton Corrêa tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Cruz De Mal's Hílton Corrêa played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Vicente de Souza in the 21st minute of play. After a defensive mix-up in Cruz De Mal's zone, Allan Carvalho stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Hílton Corrêa came out of the goal and Allan Carvalho tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. In the 29th minute, Vicente de Souza got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. A collision led to Costa AD getting a freekick after 31 minutes play. Adolfo Varela hit a great ball. In the 36th minute, Aloísio Braga hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Hílton Corrêa made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Basílio Moura in the 41st minute of play. After having played for 45 minutes, Allan Carvalho managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Costa AD's supporters crossed their fingers, but Allan Carvalho was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. The score stood at 0-0 when the half time whistle went. Both sets of players seemed reasonably pleased with how the match was going.

Hílton Corrêa made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Basílio Moura in the 51st minute of play. Allan Carvalho recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 56th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. 57 minutes into the match, Cruz De Mal's goal looked a bit too open when Vicente de Souza came free, but Hílton Corrêa reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Hílton Corrêa made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Basílio Moura in the 59th minute of play. Allan Carvalho fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 67th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Hílton Corrêa having to interfere. The supporters of Costa AD booed when Cruz De Mal was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 73 match minutes in a wonderful position. Váldson Lopes didn't get a good kick on the ball. Allan Carvalho received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 75th minute. Hílton Corrêa tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Hílton Corrêa made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Vicente de Souza in the 78th minute of play. Aloísio Braga charged in rather forcefully in the 80th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Aloísio Braga the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. The supporters of Cruz De Mal booed when Costa AD was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 80 match minutes in a wonderful position. Aloísio Braga didn't get a good kick on the ball. Vicente de Souza blasted a shot towards the goal in the 84th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Hílton Corrêa having to make a save. Costa AD were clearly unhappy with the draw, as they felt they had done enough to earn themselves a victory.
