Spectators: 6663 (Terracing: 5000, Seating: 1663, VIP seats: 0) Fred Trancoso showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Lenílson Loyola in the 4th minute of the match. Lenílson Loyola recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 5th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Haroldo Baptista's shot from long distance in the 8th minute was not bad at all, but Soares F.C's Fred Trancoso knew what was happening and pushed the ball into his arms just before it hit the right post. After 10 played minutes Timbore got a freekick which was hit by Dudu Vieira. An unexpectedly hard shot by Kiko Proença in the 11th minute of play forced Timbore's goalkeeper Jânio Ramos to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 13th minute Kiko Proença shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Jânio Ramos saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. 15 minutes into the game, Soares F.C's Kiko Proença nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Jânio Ramos made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 0-1. Lenílson Loyola received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 20th minute. Fred Trancoso tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Juarês Carioca's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Fred Trancoso read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 22nd minute of play. 23 minutes into the game, Timbore's Lenílson Loyola nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Fred Trancoso made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 1-1. The goalkeeper, Fred Trancoso, was totally fooled by Timbore's Haroldo Baptista, who 35 minutes into the game made a penalty shot that went in on the goalkeeper's left side. Juarês Carioca fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 45th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Fred Trancoso having to interfere. The home fans were very happy to see their team leading 2-1 at half-time.

62 minutes into the game, Kiko Proença was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Soares F.C's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Timbore the free kick. Kiko Proença kicked well hit freekick during the 63rd minute of the match. Juarês Carioca sent away a hard shot on goal in the 65th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. After a defensive mix-up in Timbore's zone, Joaquim Moreira stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Jânio Ramos came out of the goal and Joaquim Moreira tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. The supporters of Timbore booed when Soares F.C was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 81 match minutes in a wonderful position. Thomás Massa didn't get a good kick on the ball. In the 92nd minute Juarês Carioca shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Fred Trancoso saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 93rdth minute of the game Lenílson Loyola who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Soares F.C's Fred Trancoso was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Timbore were really happy, having secured the victory after a very even contest. They thanked the players of Soares F.C for a fine match.
