Spectators: 5000 (Terracing: 4000, Seating: 1000, VIP seats: 0) The field was rather wet after several days of rain when Vitinho Pernambucano took the kick off in the first half of the match. Vitinho Pernambucano fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 5th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Roberto Mendonça having to interfere. Paiva's defense didn't have a chance, in the 7th minute, when Vitinho Pernambucano scored to the left of an out of position Roberto Mendonça, making the score, 1-0. After 14 played minutes Vitinho Pernambucano rounded Paiva's defense and shot a beautiful shot into goal via left pole - 2-0. Luizão Antunes took the ball and in the 17 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Roberto Mendonça. Roberto Mendonça dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 3-0. After a defensive mix-up in Paiva's zone, Vitinho Pernambucano stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Roberto Mendonça came out of the goal and Vitinho Pernambucano tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. After a rather tough play, Barreirinhas SS's Célio de Salles got a free kick in the 26th minute. Roberto Mendonça was in the perfect position, and the defense had done a good job marking him, but Vitinho Pernambucano showcased his skills and made a perfect shot to score 4-0 in the 32 minute of play. After 34 played minutes Barreirinhas SS got a freekick which was hit by Júlio Valle. Paiva's Roberto Mendonça played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Vitinho Pernambucano in the 38th minute of play. Túlio Dracena took the ball and in the 41 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Adrianinho Abreu. Adrianinho Abreu dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 4-1. All the noise was coming from the home fans when the whistle went for half-time. The home team had fought hardest to put themselves in a deserved lead.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Túlio Dracena made a kick off. Ronaldão do Valle sent away a hard shot on goal in the 53rd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. In the 59th minute Luizão Antunes shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Roberto Mendonça saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Luizão Antunes received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 62nd minute. Roberto Mendonça tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Roberto Mendonça came out of the goal in the 70th minute to try and stop a shot by Barreirinhas SS's Vitinho Pernambucano. But to his dismay, Vitinho Pernambucano quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 5-1. Ronaldão do Valle who was well placed in front of the goal fired away a dangerous shot that in the 83rdth minute tested the skills of Adrianinho Abreu when he managed to save the team from getting behind. When Barreirinhas SS's Vitinho Pernambucano in the 86th minute got a chance for a shot 86th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Paiva's goalie prevented a goal. Roberto Mendonça stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Vitinho Pernambucano's shot from short distance in the 87th minute. For all the effort they put into the match, the Paiva players left disappointed. They had fought hard, but couldn't break down the home team's defense. The match ended in a win for Barreirinhas SS.
