Délio Cerezo was extremely unlucky when he, in the 29th minute, took a shot that hit the right post and went out. An unexpectedly hard shot by Clemente Sá in the 33rd minute of play forced Clube De Regatas Flamnego's goalkeeper Claudinho Borges to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Clemente Sá in the 40th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Claudinho Borges prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Claudinho Borges came out of the goal and Délio Cerezo tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Clemente Sá's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Claudinho Borges read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 97th minute of play.
