Spectators: 6800 (Terracing: 5000, Seating: 1657, VIP seats: 143) It was fairly windy and cold on the field when Egídio Xavier kicked off to start the match. 7 minutes into the match, Recreativo S.C's goal looked a bit too open when Décio Quadros came free, but Miguel Almeida reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. The audience was convinced that Décio Quadros's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Miguel Almeida was relentless in the 11th minute of the game. 12 minutes into the game, one of Recreativo S.C:s players got tackled near the goal, and the referee blew for a penalty. Kasey Taylor recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 17th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Yanto Solihin during the 19th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. After some careless play in the Recreativo S.C defense, Décio Quadros kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Miguel Almeida. The Recreativo S.C fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Miguel Almeida should have stopped the shot. An unexpectedly hard shot by Egídio Xavier in the 32nd minute of play forced Letais FC's goalkeeper Hernan Renner to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Thanks to some nice moves Ciro Campidelis could shoot a difficult shot in the 33rd minute, which Hernan Renner however easily saved by the left post. A collision led to Recreativo S.C getting a freekick after 37 minutes play. Jailson Cardozo hit a great ball. In the 38th minute, Borislav Štrublić hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Kasey Taylor hit a great freekick 41 minutes into the match. Décio Quadros received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 48th minute. Miguel Almeida tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Décio Quadros to make the kick off. After 52 minutes, Rubens Lago mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Recreativo S.C and the Letais FC players grew even worse after the yellow card. Rubens Lago hit a great freekick 52 minutes into the match. With a little luck, Recreativo S.C's Miguel Almeida got control of the ball when Décio Quadros tried to sneak it across the goal line. After a rather tough play, Recreativo S.C's Sidnei Marinho got a free kick in the 66th minute. Miguel Almeida showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Décio Quadros, who was totally free with the ball in the 71st minute. 75 minutes into the match, Letais FC's Décio Quadros sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Miguel Almeida narrowly saved just below the crossbar. After 76 minutes, Décio Quadros made it 0-3 with a short kick to the right side. Recreativo S.C's Miguel Almeida tried to save the shot but he was too slow in reacting to the shot. Yanto Solihin fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 80th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Miguel Almeida having to interfere. Betinho Sarmento recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 95th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Décio Quadros fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 96th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Miguel Almeida having to interfere. When the final whistle sounded Letais FC left the ground with the victory after a much better performance than Recreativo S.C.
