Real Timão Sport Club's attacker deliberately struck the ball against an opponent to win a corner for his team. The corner was taken by Alfredinho Gaspar in the 15th minute. A nice corner shot did that Alfredinho Gaspar got away a dangerous shot. Despite this Lenílson da Cunha quite easily got ahold of the ball to make the save. Real Timão Sport Club's supporters crossed their fingers, but Agostinho Dantas was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Lenílson da Cunha made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Alfredinho Gaspar in the 37th minute of play. 39 minutes into the match, Real Timão Sport Club's goalkeeper Afonsinho Paraíba had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Hernani Mesquita. In the 96th minute, Jairo Mitxaut ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Afonsinho Paraíba was frozen by the shot and now it was 5-1. Planura walked away with a well-earned victory that was much celebrated by the crowd.
