Spectators: 5000 (Terracing: 4000, Seating: 1000, VIP seats: 0) Dark clouds were building up when the players entered the field. None of the them looked very eager to play. Emílio Proença started the match with the kick off. After a rather tough play, Brumadinho's Edmílson Fantini got a free kick in the 3rd minute. Samuel Luz made an important save on a dangerous shot by Juan Moraes in the 5th minute. After 8 minutes of play, Brumadinho's Inácio Vale made it 0-1 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. David Quintal was left in no man's land by his defense there! After a defensive mix-up in Guayanazes's zone, Emílio Proença stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. David Quintal came out of the goal and Emílio Proença tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. In the 17th minute, Inácio Vale got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. In the 19th minute, Isaltino Vergílio reached a very good position and smashed the ball with a huge effort into the net, just to the left of Samuel Luz. The goal made the score 1-1. After a rather tough play, Guayanazes's Jaime Vides got a free kick in the 27th minute. After some fancy dribbling in the 29th minute, Inácio Vale managed to get in a good position for a shot. Brumadinho's supporters rose to their feet, but Inácio Vale was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. David Quintal breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Samuel Luz didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Juan Moraes went, in the 32nd minute, to the upper right corner, 3-1 was the resulting score. Samuel Luz made an important save on a dangerous shot by Juan Moraes in the 37th minute. Samuel Luz showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Isaltino Vergílio, who was totally free with the ball in the 42nd minute. An unexpectedly hard shot by Inácio Vale in the 45th minute of play forced Guayanazes's goalkeeper David Quintal to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Isaltino Vergílio fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 46th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Samuel Luz having to interfere. No-one was surprised that the home team were leading 3-1 at half-time.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Isaltino Vergílio to make the kick off. In the 55th minute of the match, Inácio Vale got a very nice opportunity to score, but David Quintal was well-placed and pushed the ball away from the goal at the left post. After having played for 58 minutes, Juan Moraes managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Guayanazes's supporters crossed their fingers, but Juan Moraes was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Juan Moraes scored 4-1 in the 61st match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Samuel Luz, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. Brumadinho's Samuel Luz played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Sidney Mesquita in the 69th minute of play. Samuel Luz made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Juan Moraes in the 71st minute of play. After 72 played minutes Brumadinho got a freekick which was hit by Edmílson Fantini. After recieving a nice pass, Guayanazes's Rômulo Sarmento tried to score from far away in the 73rd minute, but the ball went over the crossbar. Rômulo Sarmento kicked well hit freekick during the 79th minute of the match. Isaltino Vergílio recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 82nd minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. In the 83rd match minute, Brumadinho was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Claudinei Corrêa to maneuver through the defense. In the 89th minute, Isaltino Vergílio hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. After having played for 92 minutes, Isaltino Vergílio managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Guayanazes's supporters crossed their fingers, but Isaltino Vergílio was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. The crowd rose to their feet and cheered when the referee blew the final whistle. Guayanazes had won after a very even match.
