Spectators: 5000 (Terracing: 4000, Seating: 1000, VIP seats: 0) It was fairly windy and cold on the field when Edgar Monteiro kicked off to start the match. Paris Saint-Germain's Leandro Rosa came free and shot a quick shot against goal 3 minutes in the game, fortunately César Castro had problems saving as it came toward the left post. The supporters of Paris Saint-Germain booed when Sabiuca was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 4 match minutes in a wonderful position. Cícero Ortiz didn't get a good kick on the ball. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Edgar Monteiro in the 10th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Edgar Terra prevented the ball from getting in the gole. In the 13th minute José Paulo Mello shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but César Castro saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. After a defensive mix-up in Sabiuca's zone, José Paulo Mello stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. César Castro came out of the goal and José Paulo Mello tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. An unexpectedly hard shot by José Paulo Mello in the 16th minute of play forced Sabiuca's goalkeeper César Castro to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. 18 minutes into the match, Paris Saint-Germain's goal looked a bit too open when Edgar Monteiro came free, but Edgar Terra reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. 21 minutes into the match, Sabiuca's goalkeeper César Castro had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Leandro Rosa. After 23 minutes of play, Paris Saint-Germain's Osvaldinho da Silveira made it 2-0 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. César Castro was left in no man's land by his defense there! César Castro made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Douglas Azevedo in the 26th minute of play. 31 minutes into the game, Paris Saint-Germain's Douglas Azevedo nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. César Castro made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 3-0. 35 minutes into the match, Sabiuca's goal looked a bit too open when Douglas Azevedo came free, but César Castro reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Leandro Rosa received a nice pass, split the defenders, and ran untouched towards the goal. César Castro came out and tried to block the shot, but Leandro Rosa slotted it home off the left post making it 4-0 in the 38th minute. César Castro was out of position in the 40 minute of play, and José Paulo Mello capitalized on the mistake with a soft shot into the goal. José Paulo Mello really showed his touch with that goal: 5-0. Edgar Monteiro received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 44th minute. Edgar Terra tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. With an all-out effort, Paris Saint-Germain's César Castro threw himself towards the right post 47 minutes into the match and grabbed hold of the ball from José Paulo Mello, which otherwise would have been placed in the net. The home fans were very happy to see their team leading 5-0 at half-time.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell José Paulo Mello to make the kick off. José Paulo Mello recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 51st minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. César Castro took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from José Paulo Mello, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Edgar Terra was out of position in the 55 minute of play, and Edgar Monteiro capitalized on the mistake with a soft shot into the goal. Edgar Monteiro really showed his touch with that goal: 5-1. Edgar Terra showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Edgar Monteiro, who was totally free with the ball in the 60th minute. Edgar Monteiro had several of the Paris Saint-Germain's defenders around him in the penalty area when he, after 63 minutes of play, received a pass and succeeded in some way to shoot a shot which went straight ahead into goal. This resulted in a 5-2 score and a disappointed Edgar Terra as he didn't even see the shot coming. Edgar Terra was in the perfect position, and the defense had done a good job marking him, but Tory Sousa showcased his skills and made a perfect shot to score 5-3 in the 66 minute of play. The crowd rose to their feet as Sabiuca's Edgar Monteiro slotted home a wonderful shot that went in to the left of Edgar Terra. That made the score 5-4 after 70 minutes of play. Edgar Terra made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Edgar Monteiro in the 74th minute of play. Sabiuca's César Castro played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Douglas Azevedo in the 75th minute of play. César Castro showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Leandro Rosa, who was totally free with the ball in the 78th minute. After some careless play in the Sabiuca defense, Douglas Azevedo kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of César Castro. The Sabiuca fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that César Castro should have stopped the shot. An unexpectedly hard shot by José Paulo Mello in the 88th minute of play forced Sabiuca's goalkeeper César Castro to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Moisés Novaes kicked well hit freekick during the 94th minute of the match. César Castro took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from José Paulo Mello, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side.
