The supporters of Facção Capixaba F.C booed when Clube Atlético Tupã was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 39 match minutes in a wonderful position. Fernandão Leite didn't get a good kick on the ball. After some careless play in the Clube Atlético Tupã defense, Téo Sophian kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Luciano Martins. The crowd was extremely unhappy with the home team's performance in the first half. They were losing 0-2.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Clóvis Saldanha to make the kick off. Abel Carioca kicked well hit freekick during the 52nd minute of the match. After 54 played minutes Clube Atlético Tupã got a freekick which was hit by Joel da Silveira. Clube Atlético Tupã's Luciano Martins proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 57th minute of the match, managed to save Clube Atlético Tupã from getting a goal against them. After a defensive mix-up in Clube Atlético Tupã's zone, Cauan Brodel stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Luciano Martins came out of the goal and Cauan Brodel tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. In the 61st minute, Téo Sophian got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. In the 72nd minute, Kazım Mengücek ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Luciano Martins was frozen by the shot and now it was 0-4. The crowd rose to their feet as Facção Capixaba F.C's Kazım Mengücek slotted home a wonderful shot that went in to the left of Luciano Martins. That made the score 0-5 after 80 minutes of play. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Téo Sophian in the 83rd managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Luciano Martins saved Clube Atlético Tupã from getting behind. In the 87th minute, Kazım Mengücek got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Luciano Martins came out of the goal in the 90th minute to try and stop a shot by Facção Capixaba F.C's Téo Sophian. But to his dismay, Téo Sophian quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 0-6. Kazım Mengücek sent away a hard shot on goal in the 94th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. 96 minutes into the game, Murilo Amaral was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Facção Capixaba F.C's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Clube Atlético Tupã the free kick. Murilo Amaral hit a great freekick 97 minutes into the match. When the match was over Facção Capixaba F.C could go home with a victory in their luggage, having controlled the game far better than Clube Atlético Tupã throughout the match.
