In the 4th minute, Tiago Gabriel Toscano hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. When Thiago Neiva came up free with the goalie in the 8th minute, the Buba & Gump F.C. fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Thiago Neiva couldn't finish the play. 11 minutes into the match, COLÉGIO FC's goalkeeper Agnaldo da Cunha had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Erasmo Montenegro. Diego de Souza received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 12th minute. Agnaldo da Cunha tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. An unexpectedly hard shot by Jacinto Matos in the 14th minute of play forced Buba & Gump F.C.'s goalkeeper Hermínio Abreu to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. If Erasmo Montenegro had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 16th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 17th minute, Jânio Viana hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Samuca Cabral charged in rather forcefully in the 23rd minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Samuca Cabral the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. In the 23rd match minute, COLÉGIO FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Samuca Cabral to maneuver through the defense. Lenílson Rossi was astounded when the referee showed him the red card after a seemingly innocent challenge, 28 minutes into the match. After 27 minutes of play, the referee blew the whistle. It was a penalty for Buba & Gump F.C.! In the 30th minute there was a penalty for COLÉGIO FC. Lino Mesquita stepped forward and shot the ball to the right of a diving Hermínio Abreu. 0-1. In the 32nd minute, Jacinto Matos got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. After 37 played minutes, COLÉGIO FC's Lino Mesquita shot from a long distance, and at first it looked like the ball was going into the goal, but the goalkeeper Hermínio Abreu came through and got his fingers on the ball before it flew over the goal line. He then quickly gripped the ball tighter before the forwards in COLÉGIO FC reached it. The Buba & Gump F.C. players were disheartened as they walked off the pitch after the first half. COLÉGIO FC were winning 0-1.

Thiago Neiva fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 56th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Agnaldo da Cunha having to interfere. With a little luck, Buba & Gump F.C.'s Hermínio Abreu got control of the ball when Jacinto Matos tried to sneak it across the goal line. If Diego de Souza had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 64th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Thiago Neiva sent away a hard shot on goal in the 66th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Buba & Gump F.C.'s Hermínio Abreu proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 69th minute of the match, managed to save Buba & Gump F.C. from getting a goal against them. Franklin Bittencourt kicked well hit freekick during the 75th minute of the match. Ivo Rezende kicked well hit freekick during the 82nd minute of the match. An unexpectedly hard shot by Adhemar de Souza in the 85th minute of play forced Buba & Gump F.C.'s goalkeeper Hermínio Abreu to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Tiago Gabriel Toscano hit a great freekick 91 minutes into the match.
