Spectators: 5000 (Terracing: 4000, Seating: 1000, VIP seats: 0) Dark clouds were building up when the players entered the field. None of the them looked very eager to play. Raimundo Lara started the match with the kick off. Nilton Tavares hit a great freekick 3 minutes into the match. After some fancy dribbling in the 6th minute, Ivo Albuquerque managed to get in a good position for a shot. Landi's supporters rose to their feet, but Ivo Albuquerque was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Clemente Mello breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. In the 8th minute, Severino Alves ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Clemente Mello was frozen by the shot and now it was 0-1. Aurel Tender took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Waldir Seco, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. If Ulisses Souto had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 13th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. If Dé Diniz had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 15th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 16th match minute, Piacabucu was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Zé Augusto de Lara to maneuver through the defense. Landi's Aurel Tender played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Raimundo Lara in the 21st minute of play. Landi's Aurel Tender proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 22nd minute of the match, managed to save Landi from getting a goal against them. In the 24th minute, Zé Augusto de Lara made a precise shot to the right of Aurel Tender. Landi's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 1-1. 30 minutes into the game, Severino Alves cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 1-2. Clemente Mello was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. Severino Alves blasted a shot towards the goal in the 37th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Clemente Mello having to make a save. Clemente Mello made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Ivo Albuquerque in the 40th minute of play. Dé Diniz fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 43rd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Clemente Mello having to interfere. If Americo Taurino had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 45th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Raimundo Lara recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 46th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Clemente Mello made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Ivo Albuquerque in the 48th minute of play. The crowd was extremely unhappy with the home team's performance in the first half. They were losing 1-2.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Dé Diniz to strike the kick off in the second half. Aurel Tender showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Zé Augusto de Lara in the 53rd minute of the match. After 59 played minutes Landi got a freekick which was hit by Agnaldo Gonçalves. Aurel Tender showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Raimundo Lara, who was totally free with the ball in the 66th minute. In the 69th minute Raimundo Lara shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Aurel Tender saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. After a rather tough play, Landi's Ivo Albuquerque got a free kick in the 69th minute. Severino Alves kicked a quick shot right in front of the goal in the 73rdth minute. Though ot was a great shot Piacabucu's keeper Clemente Mello was sill able to block leaving the score board unchanged. Aurel Tender made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Ulisses Souto in the 79th minute of play. After some careless play in the Landi defense, Raimundo Lara kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Aurel Tender. The Landi fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Aurel Tender should have stopped the shot. An unexpectedly hard shot by Raimundo Lara in the 87th minute of play forced Landi's goalkeeper Aurel Tender to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Landi's Aurel Tender played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Waldir Seco in the 92nd minute of play. Aurel Tender took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Ulisses Souto, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Aurel Tender showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Zé Augusto de Lara in the 96th minute of the match. The second half was just like the first, even and exciting. The match ended in a draw.
