In the 31st minute Tarcisio Ferreira shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Aurel Tender saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. An unexpectedly hard shot by Ademar Reis in the 32nd minute of play forced Landi's goalkeeper Aurel Tender to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Alfredo Gerber took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Dé Diniz, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. 36 minutes into the match, Severino Alves had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Alfredo Gerber. Luzeiro EC's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Severino Alves was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 5-0. Severino Alves sent away a hard shot on goal in the 45th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. 5-1 came in the 47th minute when Ademar Reis all by himself managed to get straight through the defense and place the ball into the net to the right of Aurel Tender. The away team players looked dejected as the walked off the pitch at half time. They had fought hard, but were still losing 5-1.
After some fancy dribbling in the 52nd minute, Severino Alves managed to get in a good position for a shot. Landi's supporters rose to their feet, but Severino Alves was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Alfredo Gerber breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Ademar Reis hit a great freekick 56 minutes into the match. Americo Taurino fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 57th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Alfredo Gerber having to interfere. In the 58th minute, Ademar Reis hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. In the 80th minute Ivo Albuquerque shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Alfredo Gerber saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 83rd minute the ball was on its way in behind Luzeiro EC's goalkeeper Alfredo Gerber, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. Dé Diniz sent away a hard shot on goal in the 88th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal.
