Nilton Diniz got his second yellow card in the match during the 55th minute which meant that he had to leave the ground. Nilton Diniz hit a great freekick 55 minutes into the match. 57 minutes into the match, Michel Moreira notched a goal, 1-1, to the right of Zelandia's Edinho Cordeiro. Edinho Cordeiro was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. After some careless play in the Zelandia defense, Flávio Amorim kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Edinho Cordeiro. The Zelandia fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Edinho Cordeiro should have stopped the shot. Flávio Amorim recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 92nd minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. 94 minutes into the match, Zelandia's goal looked a bit too open when Michel Moreira came free, but Edinho Cordeiro reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line.
