Rubens Neiva made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Márcio Carioca in the 3rd minute of play. After 6 played minutes Leverger SS got a freekick which was hit by Chiquinho Donatello. If Vânderson Maranhense had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 9th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 12th minute, Vânderson Maranhense ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Rubens Neiva was frozen by the shot and now it was 0-1. Rubens Neiva made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Vânderson Maranhense in the 19th minute of play. Vânderson Maranhense fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 21st minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Rubens Neiva having to interfere. In the 24th match minute, Leverger SS was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Franklin Camargo to maneuver through the defense. After 26 minutes, Vânderson Maranhense made it 0-2 with a short kick to the right side. Leverger SS's Rubens Neiva tried to save the shot but he was too slow in reacting to the shot. An unexpectedly hard shot by Vânderson Maranhense in the 32nd minute of play forced Leverger SS's goalkeeper Rubens Neiva to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Franklin Camargo during the 42nd minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. In the 42nd minute, Franklin Camargo hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Elias da Costa fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 47th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Juninho Ramalho having to interfere. The crowd was extremely unhappy with the home team's performance in the first half. They were losing 0-2.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Ulisses Vergílio was the one to do the kick off. A collision led to Leverger SS getting a freekick after 62 minutes play. Wesley Nunes hit a great ball. Genílson Donato in the 70thth minute had a little luck and got a chance for a shot in front of the goal. Without hesitation aimed to the right of Rubens Neiva, who managed to lunge to the right direction and made a save. Juninho Ramalho came out of the goal in the 72nd minute to try and stop a shot by Leverger SS's Ulisses Vergílio. But to his dismay, Ulisses Vergílio quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 1-2. Ulisses Vergílio sent away a hard shot on goal in the 76th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Elder Ferreira charged in rather forcefully in the 80th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Elder Ferreira the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. Elder Ferreira kicked well hit freekick during the 80th minute of the match. After recieving a nice pass, Leverger SS's Dorival Pombal tried to score from far away in the 81st minute, but the ball went over the crossbar. Márcio Carioca fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 87th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Rubens Neiva having to interfere. The Leverger SS supporters were disappointed that their team didn't take anything from the match, despite matching Torreoes's performance. The match ended with a win for Torreoes.
