The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. Dorian do Valles short, quick shot in the 4thth minute got Duda Freire to make great effort and bar the ball away from getting in. A hard shot 4 in the game by Dorian do Valle from a close distance when the talented Duda Freire managed to make a qualified save. Rita Pavone Di Pallone's players were relieved. Murilo Valadares made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Renatinho Medeiros in the 18th minute of play. In the 19th minute, one of Rita Pavone Di Pallone:s players had the ball in front of the goal but got pushed and fell. The referee felt it was an obvious case and blew a penalty for Rita Pavone Di Pallone. Duda Freire had in the 21stth minute some difficulties stopping Dorian do Valle's well aimed penalty as it nearly passed him on his left side, but he still managed to hold the ball. In the 24th minute Renatinho Medeiros shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Murilo Valadares saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. 25 minutes into the match, Dorian do Valle had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Duda Freire. Rita Pavone Di Pallone's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Dorian do Valle was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 1-0. When Antônio Sarmento came up free with the goalie in the 28th minute, the Izumi F.C. fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Antônio Sarmento couldn't finish the play. Duda Freire was in the perfect position, and the defense had done a good job marking him, but Edinho Eger showcased his skills and made a perfect shot to score 3-0 in the 35 minute of play. Iuri Costa received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 39th minute. Murilo Valadares tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Antônio Sarmento blasted a shot towards the goal in the 40th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Duda Freire having to make a save. In the 44th minute, Izumi F.C.'s Mariusz Kalemba seemed to kick out at an opponent. The referee saw this and, surprisingly, showed Mariusz Kalemba the red card, dismissing him from the pitch. The coaching staff of Izumi F.C. protested bitterly, but the referee would have none of it, and Mariusz Kalemba had no choice but to slowly walk off the pitch. In the 44th minute, Mariusz Kalemba hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Murilo Valadares showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Jailson França, who was totally free with the ball in the 45th minute. In the 47thth minute of the game Renatinho Medeiros who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Izumi F.C.'s Murilo Valadares was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. No-one was surprised that the home team were leading 3-0 at half-time.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Renatinho Medeiros stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. After having played for 52 minutes, Antônio Sarmento managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Izumi F.C.'s supporters crossed their fingers, but Antônio Sarmento was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. In the 57th minute, Antônio Sarmento got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Rita Pavone Di Pallone's Duda Freire played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Antônio Sarmento in the 63rd minute of play. After 64 minutes, Carlos Fernando Dionísio mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Rita Pavone Di Pallone and the Izumi F.C. players grew even worse after the yellow card. A collision led to Rita Pavone Di Pallone getting a freekick after 64 minutes play. Carlos Fernando Dionísio hit a great ball. If Antônio Sarmento had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 65th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. After a defensive mix-up in Rita Pavone Di Pallone's zone, Edinho Eger stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Duda Freire came out of the goal and Edinho Eger tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. 68 minutes into the match, Rita Pavone Di Pallone's goal looked a bit too open when Antônio Sarmento came free, but Duda Freire reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Antônio Sarmento sent away a hard shot on goal in the 72nd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. An unexpectedly hard shot by Antônio Sarmento in the 78th minute of play forced Rita Pavone Di Pallone's goalkeeper Duda Freire to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Duda Freire made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Eduardo Amaral in the 80th minute of play. 4-0 became the score in the 81st minute when Antônio Sarmento elegantly shot the ball into goal just under the crossbar. Renatinho Medeiros fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 85th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Murilo Valadares having to interfere. Duda Freire took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Antônio Sarmento, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. 91 minutes into the game, Edinho Eger cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 5-0. Duda Freire was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. Duda Freire came out of the goal in the 95th minute to try and stop a shot by Izumi F.C.'s Antônio Sarmento. But to his dismay, Antônio Sarmento quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 6-0. Izumi F.C. walked away with a well-earned victory that was much celebrated by the crowd.
