After a rather tough play, Papagaio's Deivid Neiva got a free kick in the 52nd minute. Narciso de Castro recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 54th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Délio Silveira's late challenge caught a Papagaio's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Délio Silveira helped the player get up and apologised. After a rather tough play, Ibiraci FC's Délio Silveira got a free kick in the 57th minute. Deivid Neiva who was well placed in front of the goal fired away a dangerous shot that in the 59thth minute tested the skills of João Augusto Félix when he managed to save the team from getting behind. The supporters of Papagaio booed when Ibiraci FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 61 match minutes in a wonderful position. Váldson Rosa didn't get a good kick on the ball.
