Spectators: 5681 (Terracing: 4000, Seating: 1681, VIP seats: 0) In the 2nd minute, Zé Carlos Moura hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. After 3 minutes of play, Miraluz EC's Benjamim Nogueira made it 0-1 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Rubens Miranda was left in no man's land by his defense there! After 6 played minutes Miraluz EC got a freekick which was hit by Leonel Trancoso. In the 7th minute, Armindo Dante got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Benjamim Nogueira hit a great freekick 9 minutes into the match. After having played for 10 minutes, Bernardo Xavier managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Red Bull FC's supporters crossed their fingers, but Bernardo Xavier was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Fridolin Gregoire recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 11th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Andrézinho Freire made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Bernardo Xavier in the 13th minute of play. Fridolin Gregoire's shot when he came free in front of the goal in the 15thth minute, Andrézinho Freire skillfully showed off with a save to what seemed to be an obvious goal. When Lucas Toscano fell near the penalty area in the 15th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Miraluz EC's protests and gave Lucas Toscano a yellow card for diving instead. Fridolin Gregoire had several of the Miraluz EC's defenders around him in the penalty area when he, after 17 minutes of play, received a pass and succeeded in some way to shoot a shot which went straight ahead into goal. This resulted in a 1-1 score and a disappointed Andrézinho Freire as he didn't even see the shot coming. Andrézinho Freire stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Fridolin Gregoire's shot from short distance in the 22nd minute. In the 28th match minute, Miraluz EC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Osmar Araújo to maneuver through the defense. 38 minutes into the match, Red Bull FC's goal looked a bit too open when Lucas Toscano came free, but Rubens Miranda reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Andrézinho Freire took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Bernardo Xavier, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 42nd match minute, Miraluz EC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Benjamim Nogueira to maneuver through the defense. Fridolin Gregoire sent away a hard shot on goal in the 44th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Miraluz EC's Andrézinho Freire played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Bernardo Xavier in the 45th minute of play.

Andrézinho Freire showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Bernardo Xavier, who was totally free with the ball in the 57th minute. After 62nd play minutes Fridolin Gregoire shot 2-1, a short shot which went by Andrézinho Freire and just under the crossbar into goal. An unexpectedly hard shot by Bernardo Xavier in the 67th minute of play forced Miraluz EC's goalkeeper Andrézinho Freire to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 73rdth minute of the game Fridolin Gregoire who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Miraluz EC's Andrézinho Freire was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Fridolin Gregoire took the ball and in the 75 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Andrézinho Freire. Andrézinho Freire dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 3-1. Bernardo Xavier received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 86th minute. Andrézinho Freire tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Fridolin Gregoire received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 88th minute. The supporters of Red Bull FC booed when Miraluz EC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 92 match minutes in a wonderful position. Lucas Toscano didn't get a good kick on the ball. When Bernardo Xavier came up free with the goalie in the 94th minute, the Red Bull FC fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Bernardo Xavier couldn't finish the play. Tiaguinho Almeida kicked well hit freekick during the 96th minute of the match. There was no doubt that Red Bull FC were the better team. Red Bull FC's players enjoyed the ovations of the crowd after the victory.
