In the 4th minute of the match, Juan Pirani tried to roll the ball into the goal by the right post, but Hernani Paulista saw his intentions and got control of the ball before it passed the line. Villareal's Magno Neiva got a good chance for a goal in the 7th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. In the 15th minute, Juan Pirani got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Juan Pirani in the 18th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Hernani Paulista saved CHKDSK from getting behind. Magno Neiva recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 24th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. CHKDSK's goalkeeper couldn't reach when Juan Pirani 28 minutes into the game got a good kick on the ball which found its way into goal just inside left pole. 1-0. Hernani Paulista made an important save on a dangerous shot by Magno Neiva in the 31st minute. In the 32nd of the match, Juan Pirani tried to place the ball in the upper right corner, but Hernani Paulista got in the way and made a wonderful save. When Villareal's Magno Neiva, in the 35th minute, received a pass right in front of the net, it looked like a certain goal, but his shot went outside. A wasted opportunity for Villareal. Juan Pirani might have been able to make a better finish in the 37th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Hernani Paulista. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Juan Pirani ran back to his position shaking his head. If Juan Pirani had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 42nd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Hernani Paulista made a fantastic save in the 46th minute, when Rafinha Albuquerque sent off a good shot on target. Hernani Paulista came out of the goal in the 49th minute to try and stop a shot by Villareal's Magno Neiva. But to his dismay, Magno Neiva quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 2-0. The home fans were very happy to see their team leading 2-0 at half-time.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Juan Pirani made a kick off. An unexpectedly hard shot by Juan Pirani in the 62nd minute of play forced CHKDSK's goalkeeper Hernani Paulista to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Hernani Paulista showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Juan Pirani in the 63rd minute of the match. CHKDSK's Hernani Paulista played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Rafinha Albuquerque in the 75th minute of play. Hernani Paulista took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Magno Neiva, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. If Magno Neiva had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 83rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. CHKDSK's Hernani Paulista played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Rafinha Albuquerque in the 86th minute of play. Hernani Paulista came out of the goal in the 89th minute to try and stop a shot by Villareal's Juan Pirani. But to his dismay, Juan Pirani quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 4-0. 92 minutes into the match, CHKDSK's goal looked a bit too open when Juan Pirani came free, but Hernani Paulista reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Juan Pirani received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 97th minute. Hernani Paulista tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. 100 minutes into the game, Villareal's Juan Pirani nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Hernani Paulista made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 5-0. There was no doubt that Villareal were the better team. Villareal's players enjoyed the ovations of the crowd after the victory.
