In the 11th minute, Marcelo Paraibano got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. If Marcelo Paraibano had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 13th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Enrico Troilo sent away a hard shot on goal in the 15th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Marcelo Paraibano received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 18th minute. Jean Saldanha tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Gerson Veiga received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 20th minute. Richard Diniz tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. The audience was convinced that Marcelo Paraibano's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Jean Saldanha was relentless in the 33rd minute of the game. Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Marcelo Paraibano to make the kick off. After some fancy dribbling in the 52nd minute, Igor Cruz managed to get in a good position for a shot. Atlético Maneiro Fc's supporters rose to their feet, but Igor Cruz was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Jean Saldanha breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. After a defensive mix-up in Pescadores's zone, Marcelo Paraibano stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Jean Saldanha came out of the goal and Marcelo Paraibano tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. José Augusto Arce fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 67th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Richard Diniz having to interfere. An unexpectedly hard shot by Gerson Veiga in the 69th minute of play forced Atlético Maneiro Fc's goalkeeper Richard Diniz to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. After having played for 71 minutes, Marcelo Paraibano managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Atlético Maneiro Fc's supporters crossed their fingers, but Marcelo Paraibano was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Gerson Veiga hit a great freekick 74 minutes into the match. An unexpectedly hard shot by Marcelo Paraibano in the 75th minute of play forced Pescadores's goalkeeper Jean Saldanha to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. After 76 played minutes Pescadores got a freekick which was hit by Nestor Vale. Jean Saldanha made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Marcelo Paraibano in the 83rd minute of play. An unexpected shot in the 87th minute by Marcelo Paraibano got the crowd on their feet, but to their dismay it went out on the left side. In the 92nd minute Enrico Troilo shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Jean Saldanha saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Atlético Maneiro Fc played a much better game than Pescadores and deserved their victory. The Pescadores players were clearly disappointed as they left the ground.
