The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Rafinha Arruda stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. After a defensive mix-up in Arima AD's zone, Rafinha Arruda stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Zé Roberto Medeiros came out of the goal and Rafinha Arruda tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Osmar Loureiro hit a great freekick 98 minutes into the match. The referee blew the final whistle, and the away crowd roared, having watched Arima AD eke out a victory against a very well matched opponent.
