Staffan Mager fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 3rd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without João Augusto Miranda having to interfere. In the 5th minute Gugu Trancoso shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but João Augusto Miranda saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. 6 minutes into the match, Uno FC's goal looked a bit too open when Danilo Arruda came free, but João Augusto Miranda reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 7th minute, Luiz Paulo Velloso left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Nacional PR fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 1-0. João Augusto Miranda made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Gugu Trancoso in the 10th minute of play. João Augusto Miranda made an important save on a dangerous shot by Danilo Arruda in the 23rd minute. After a rather tough play, Uno FC's Ivo Pinho got a free kick in the 23rd minute. Jânio de Almeida's shot when he came free in front of the goal in the 29thth minute, João Augusto Miranda skillfully showed off with a save to what seemed to be an obvious goal. In the 30th minute, Gugu Trancoso reached a very good position and smashed the ball with a huge effort into the net, just to the left of João Augusto Miranda. A collision led to Nacional PR getting a freekick after 43 minutes play. Rodrigo Travassos hit a great ball. With a little luck, Uno FC's João Augusto Miranda got control of the ball when Staffan Mager tried to sneak it across the goal line. In the 48th minute, Nacional PR's Danilo Arruda dribbled the ball into the box and hit a shot with the outside of his foot, sending the keeper the wrong way. 5-0. The home fans were very happy to see their team leading 5-0 at half-time.

In the 62nd minute, Gugu Trancoso ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. João Augusto Miranda was frozen by the shot and now it was 6-0. João Augusto Miranda showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Gugu Trancoso, who was totally free with the ball in the 67th minute. In the 68th minute, Staffan Mager made a precise shot to the right of João Augusto Miranda. Uno FC's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 7-0. 74 minutes into the match, Uno FC's goal looked a bit too open when Danilo Arruda came free, but João Augusto Miranda reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. João Augusto Miranda showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Danilo Arruda in the 80th minute of the match. Ivo Pinho kicked well hit freekick during the 80th minute of the match. In the 83rd minute Danilo Arruda shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but João Augusto Miranda saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Uno FC's João Augusto Miranda played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Gugu Trancoso in the 87th minute of play. In the 89th minute, Dida Gaspar hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. After some careless play in the Uno FC defense, Gugu Trancoso kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of João Augusto Miranda. The Uno FC fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that João Augusto Miranda should have stopped the shot. João Augusto Miranda took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Staffan Mager, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. After 96 played minutes Uno FC got a freekick which was hit by Jairo Varela. After a defensive mix-up in Uno FC's zone, Gugu Trancoso stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. João Augusto Miranda came out of the goal and Gugu Trancoso tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. 98 minutes into the game, Chico Carioca was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Uno FC's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Nacional PR the free kick. After a rather tough play, Uno FC's Chico Carioca got a free kick in the 98th minute. There were very few away supporters still in the ground by the end of the match. Most of them had left early, disgusted by the way their team had been torn apart. Nacional PR fully deserved thier win.
