Sebastião Neves received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 16th minute. Marcus Guedes tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Marcus Guedes showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Kiko Massa, who was totally free with the ball in the 17th minute. AD Iguatu's Roberto Seco pulled a muscle in his leg after 18 minutes and couldn't finish the game. Sebastião Neves charged in rather forcefully in the 18th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Sebastião Neves the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. In the 19th match minute, Raiders FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Sebastião Neves to maneuver through the defense. Kiko Massa got in the 24th a clear chance and fired away a hard shot against goal, but Marcus Guedes handled the situation perfectly and made a save by the crossbar. In the 25th minute, Sérgio Vander hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. In the 32ndth minute of the game Kiko Massa who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but AD Iguatu's Marcus Guedes was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. 35 minutes into the match, Raiders FC's goalkeeper João de Carvalho had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Agnaldo Terra. AD Iguatu's Marcus Guedes played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Sebastião Neves in the 39th minute of play. After some fancy dribbling in the 43rd minute, Agnaldo Terra managed to get in a good position for a shot. AD Iguatu's supporters rose to their feet, but Agnaldo Terra was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. João de Carvalho breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. The away team players looked dejected as the walked off the pitch at half time. They had fought hard, but were still losing 1-0.

The wind increased when Agnaldo Terra made the kick off in the second half. Agnaldo Terra recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 51st minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. In the 53rd minute, Dalmo Arce left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The AD Iguatu fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 2-0. Agnaldo Terra struck a weak shot in the 58th minute. João de Carvalho didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for AD Iguatu. João de Carvalho showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Agnaldo Terra in the 63rd minute of the match. AD Iguatu's Marcus Guedes proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 65th minute of the match, managed to save AD Iguatu from getting a goal against them. Raiders FC's João de Carvalho played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Agnaldo Terra in the 67th minute of play. In the 73rdth minute of the game Kiko Massa who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but AD Iguatu's Marcus Guedes was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. In the 75th minute Agnaldo Terra shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but João de Carvalho saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. A collision led to Raiders FC getting a freekick after 77 minutes play. Giuseppe Schmidt hit a great ball. A hard shot 79 in the game by Kiko Massa from a close distance when the talented Marcus Guedes managed to make a qualified save. AD Iguatu's players were relieved. In the 80th minute Sebastião Neves shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Marcus Guedes saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. The supporters of Raiders FC booed when AD Iguatu was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 81 match minutes in a wonderful position. Carlos Duarte didn't get a good kick on the ball. After a defensive mix-up in AD Iguatu's zone, Sebastião Neves stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Marcus Guedes came out of the goal and Sebastião Neves tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Adalberto Favoretto hit a great freekick 89 minutes into the match. Kiko Massa was extremely unlucky when he, in the 92nd minute, took a shot that hit the right post and went out. 96 minutes into the game, AD Iguatu's Agnaldo Terra nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. João de Carvalho made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 4-0. AD Iguatu's supporters were highly satisfied with the result. They cheered their team of the pitch, having watched them win a very even match.
