The audience thought a goal was coming when Raimundo Arruda got free with Dário Moraes in the 3rd minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. A collision led to Camapuan getting a freekick after 5 minutes play. Albertino Varela hit a great ball. Juan Pinheiro came free with the goalkeeper in the 6th minute of the match, and shot straight on target. The shot was a little too simple and Dário Moraes could save by the left post. Elano Queiroz sent away a hard shot on goal in the 8th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Dário Moraes was in the perfect position, and the defense had done a good job marking him, but Juan Pinheiro showcased his skills and made a perfect shot to score 1-0 in the 10 minute of play. After some careless play in the Camapuan defense, Faustão Neto kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Dário Moraes. The Camapuan fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Dário Moraes should have stopped the shot. In the 16th minute of the game, Luís Leão landed unfortunately after trying to head the ball, and pulled a muscle in the back, so badly that he had to leave the field. Hugo Faustino's late challenge caught a Alvorada EC's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Hugo Faustino helped the player get up and apologised. In the 17th minute, Hugo Faustino hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Gernando Dracena could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 18th minute of the match, but Dário Moraes made a huge save. Juan Pinheiro fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 20th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Dário Moraes having to interfere. The supporters of Alvorada EC booed when Camapuan was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 27 match minutes in a wonderful position. Albertino Varela didn't get a good kick on the ball. Camapuan's attacker deliberately struck the ball against an opponent to win a corner for his team. The corner was taken by Eurico Marques in the 37th minute. It was a well-played corner which Yan Arantes managed to volley towards the net. Unfortunately, he didn't get a great hit on the ball and it went out into the grandstand. Simon Levander came out of the goal in the 41st minute to try and stop a shot by Camapuan's Albertino Varela. But to his dismay, Albertino Varela quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 3-1. After a defensive mix-up in Alvorada EC's zone, Yan Arantes stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Simon Levander came out of the goal and Yan Arantes tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. When the referee blew for the end of the half the home team players were clearly happier, as they went in to the break leading 3-1.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Juan Pinheiro stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. Yan Arantes fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 51st minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Simon Levander having to interfere. In the 62nd minute, Doriva Soeiro hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. 66 minutes into the match, Camapuan's goal looked a bit too open when Juan Pinheiro came free, but Dário Moraes reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. If Juan Pinheiro had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 72nd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. When Faustão Neto came up free with the goalie in the 73rd minute, the Alvorada EC fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Faustão Neto couldn't finish the play. After some fancy dribbling in the 76th minute, Nelson Correia managed to get in a good position for a shot. Camapuan's supporters rose to their feet, but Nelson Correia was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Simon Levander breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Simon Levander didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Yan Arantes went, in the 85th minute, to the upper right corner, 3-2 was the resulting score. After a defensive mix-up in Alvorada EC's zone, Elano Queiroz stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Simon Levander came out of the goal and Elano Queiroz tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Simon Levander took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Yan Arantes, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Hamílton Mangueira fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 92nd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Simon Levander having to interfere. Alvorada EC's Simon Levander played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Hamílton Mangueira in the 95th minute of play. Camapuan's supporters were dissatisfied at the end of the match because Alvorada EC had won, even though Camapuan had held more of the ball.
