Spectators: 5000 (Terracing: 4000, Seating: 1000, VIP seats: 0) It was fairly windy and cold on the field when Andrézinho Mello kicked off to start the match. Thanks to some nice moves Andrézinho Mello could shoot a difficult shot in the 20th minute, which Roberto Vander however easily saved by the left post. Márcio Trigo showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Edson Domingues, who was totally free with the ball in the 22nd minute. When Válbson Maia fell near the penalty area in the 28th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Emboscada SC's protests and gave Válbson Maia a yellow card for diving instead. After a rather tough play, Emboscada SC's Válbson Maia got a free kick in the 29th minute. When Eugênio Nunes came up free with the goalie in the 30th minute, the Bitaculo AD fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Eugênio Nunes couldn't finish the play. During the 30th minute of the match Cido Correia completely mistimed his tackle and brought down his opponent. The referee gave Cido Correia a yellow card, his second in the match, which meant he could no longer take part in the game. Cido Correia kicked well hit freekick during the 31st minute of the match. In the 33rd minute Válbson Maia shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Márcio Trigo saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. If Silas de Sena had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 37th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. No-one was surprised that the home team were leading 1-0 at half-time.

In the 53rd minute Andrézinho Mello shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Roberto Vander saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 58th minute, Silas de Sena got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Roberto Vander made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Andrézinho Mello in the 66th minute of play. The supporters of Bitaculo AD booed when Emboscada SC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 66 match minutes in a wonderful position. Válbson Maia didn't get a good kick on the ball. 69 minutes into the match, Bitaculo AD's goalkeeper Márcio Trigo had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Silas de Sena. In the 71st minute, Andrézinho Mello ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Roberto Vander was frozen by the shot and now it was 2-0. Benjamim Baptista hit a great freekick 75 minutes into the match. Márcio Trigo came out of the goal in the 76th minute to try and stop a shot by Emboscada SC's Silas de Sena. But to his dismay, Silas de Sena quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 2-1. Emboscada SC's Silas de Sena got a good chance for a goal in the 79th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Roberto Vander showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Andrézinho Mello, who was totally free with the ball in the 81st minute. After a defensive mix-up in Bitaculo AD's zone, Silas de Sena stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Márcio Trigo came out of the goal and Silas de Sena tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. If Andrézinho Mello had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 88th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Andrézinho Mello received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 91st minute. Roberto Vander tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Silas de Sena received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 93rd minute.
