The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. Tião Carioca was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. Tião Carioca made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Luizão Lucas in the 22nd minute of play. 23 minutes into the match, Blumenau Esporte Clube's goal looked a bit too open when Kauan de Godoi came free, but Tião Carioca reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. An unexpected shot in the 26th minute by Zbyszek Cerocki got the crowd on their feet, but to their dismay it went out on the left side. After 27 played minutes Icezera FC got a freekick which was hit by Ademar Quadros. A collision led to Icezera FC getting a freekick after 29 minutes play. Luizão Lucas hit a great ball. An unexpectedly hard shot by Joaquim Trindade in the 30th minute of play forced Icezera FC's goalkeeper Adrianinho Penha to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Zbyszek Cerocki who was well placed in front of the goal fired away a dangerous shot that in the 33rdth minute tested the skills of Adrianinho Penha when he managed to save the team from getting behind. 41 minutes into the match, Blumenau Esporte Clube's goal looked a bit too open when Kauan de Godoi came free, but Tião Carioca reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Tião Carioca made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Eduardo Perez in the 46th minute of play. Luck had favoured the away team in the first, and they walked off with a 0-2 lead.

The supporters of Blumenau Esporte Clube booed when Icezera FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 69 match minutes in a wonderful position. Guilherme Galvão didn't get a good kick on the ball. If Benjamin Andrade had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 70th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. Adrianinho Penha took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Joaquim Trindade, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Blumenau Esporte Clube's Benjamin Andrade managed, thanks to a brazen rush, stole the ball on a throw-in made by Léo de Sena in the 81 minute of the game. Blumenau Esporte Clube's Joaquim Trindade got a good chance for a goal in the 82nd minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Ademar Quadros hit a great freekick 85 minutes into the match. In the 91st minute Joaquim Trindade shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Adrianinho Penha saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. 94 minutes into the match, Dráusio de Alcântara notched a goal, 0-3, to the right of Blumenau Esporte Clube's Tião Carioca.
