Orlando Freitas's late challenge caught a Icezera FC's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Orlando Freitas helped the player get up and apologised. In the 42nd match minute, Clevlandia was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Orlando Freitas to maneuver through the defense. The audience thought a goal was coming when Eduardo Perez got free with Iuri Cunha in the 44th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. All the noise was coming from the home fans when the whistle went for half-time. The home team had fought hardest to put themselves in a deserved lead.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Eduardo Perez to make the kick off. The referee ignored Icezera FC's protests and gave Kauan de Godoi a yellow card for diving instead. After 61 played minutes Icezera FC got a freekick which was hit by Kauan de Godoi. After 64 played minutes Clevlandia got a freekick which was hit by Baltazar Dantas. After a rather tough play, Icezera FC's Kauan de Godoi got a free kick in the 65th minute. Rafa de Azevedo's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Adrianinho Penha read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 70th minute of play. After a defensive mix-up in Clevlandia's zone, Eduardo Perez stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Iuri Cunha came out of the goal and Eduardo Perez tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Eduardo Perez received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 75th minute. Iuri Cunha tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Dráusio de Alcântara kicked well hit freekick during the 80th minute of the match. If Eduardo Perez had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 82nd minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead.
