In the 6th minute Haroldo Prata shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Ricardinho Massa saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. 8 minutes into the game, Cordilheira's Pedrão de Amaral nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Ricardinho Massa made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 1-0. If Pedrão de Amaral had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 13th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. ℬяaga 65's Ricardinho Massa proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 20th minute of the match, managed to save ℬяaga 65 from getting a goal against them. When the match had gone on for 21 minutes, Vágner Lara put it in 3-0 from a short distance just to the right of Ricardinho Massa. Elano Godoi fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 24th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Adrianinho Mota having to interfere. In the 29th minute the ball was on its way in behind ℬяaga 65's goalkeeper Ricardinho Massa, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. When Pedrão de Amaral came up free with the goalie in the 33rd minute, the Cordilheira fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Pedrão de Amaral couldn't finish the play. 39 minutes into the match, Cordilheira's Pedrão de Amaral sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Ricardinho Massa narrowly saved just below the crossbar. Cordilheira's Adrianinho Mota played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Zé Roberto Lucas in the 41st minute of play. Ricardinho Massa made an important save on a dangerous shot by Pedrão de Amaral in the 43rd minute. After some fancy dribbling in the 46th minute, Pedrão de Amaral managed to get in a good position for a shot. Cordilheira's supporters rose to their feet, but Pedrão de Amaral was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Ricardinho Massa breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. 48 minutes into the game, Vágner Lara recieved a splendid long ball, split the defenders, and gently placed the ball to the left of Ricardinho Massa. Vágner Lara showed that you don't have to tear a hole in the net to score, 4-0.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Nildo Tavares stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. Cordilheira's Sydney Xavier got a good chance for a goal in the 54th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. In the 69th minute, Pedrão de Amaral got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. If Percy Gerber had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 73rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. An unexpectedly hard shot by Pedrão de Amaral in the 76th minute of play forced ℬяaga 65's goalkeeper Ricardinho Massa to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. 83 minutes into the game, Cordilheira's Pedrão de Amaral nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Ricardinho Massa made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 5-0. Ricardinho Massa came out of the goal in the 87th minute to try and stop a shot by Cordilheira's Percy Gerber. But to his dismay, Percy Gerber quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 6-0. Percy Gerber received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 90th minute. Ricardinho Massa tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. 93 minutes into the match, Percy Gerber notched a goal, 7-0, to the right of ℬяaga 65's Ricardinho Massa. Ricardinho Massa was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. There were very few away supporters still in the ground by the end of the match. Most of them had left early, disgusted by the way their team had been torn apart. Cordilheira fully deserved thier win.
