Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Aílton Veiga in the 19th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Eusébio Freire prevented the ball from getting in the gole. In the 20th minute, Erik da Silveira hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Zézinho Macedo showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Claudinei Melo in the 23rd minute of the match. URPR11's defense didn't have a chance, in the 25th minute, when Claudinei Melo scored to the left of an out of position Zézinho Macedo, making the score, 2-0. In the 28th minute of the match Umberto Sabóia sent off a long shot with destination to the right of the goalkeeper, but Eusébio Freire skillfully saved the ball. Nilton Valladares hit a great freekick 30 minutes into the match. After recieving a nice pass, Goianiense FC's Serginho Aguiar tried to score from far away in the 31st minute, but the ball went over the crossbar. URPR11's defense didn't have a chance, in the 33rd minute, when Claudinei Melo scored to the left of an out of position Zézinho Macedo, making the score, 3-0. Willian Borges kicked well hit freekick during the 38th minute of the match. Zézinho Macedo made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Claudinei Melo in the 46th minute of play. Nilton Valladares kicked well hit freekick during the 47th minute of the match. Af the end of the first half the score was 3-0. The first half had gone as expected for the home team.

The wind increased when Aílton Veiga made the kick off in the second half. URPR11's attacker deliberately struck the ball against an opponent to win a corner for his team. The corner was taken by Duda Loureiro in the 54th minute. Eusébio Freire took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Aílton Veiga, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. After 61 minutes Goianiense FC's defender was forced to head the ball over the line for a corner. It was Duda Loureiro who took care of the corner kick. In the 65th match minute, Goianiense FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Claudinei Melo to maneuver through the defense. In the 67thth minute of the game Claudinei Melo who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but URPR11's Zézinho Macedo was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Zézinho Macedo showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Márcio Alvarenga, who was totally free with the ball in the 71st minute. Paulo Seco sent away a hard shot on goal in the 76th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. In the 77th minute, Aílton Veiga fired away a killer shot towards the goal that, to the delight of Eusébio Freire, passed just outside the right post.
