Spectators: 5000 (Terracing: 4000, Seating: 1000, VIP seats: 0) After 2 minutes, Téo Koehler mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Bonzao SS and the Moiboada EC players grew even worse after the yellow card. In the 2nd match minute, Bonzao SS was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Téo Koehler to maneuver through the defense. In the 4th minute the ball was on its way in behind Bonzao SS's goalkeeper Rubinho das Neves, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. Moiboada EC's Walmyr Donatello played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Marco de Barros in the 5th minute of play. If João Francisco Monteiro had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 8th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. 12 minutes into the game, Silas Vaz was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Moiboada EC's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Bonzao SS the free kick. Rubinho das Neves showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Egídio Carvalho, who was totally free with the ball in the 45th minute. The away team players looked dejected as the walked off the pitch at half time. They had fought hard, but were still losing 1-0.

Téo Koehler took the ball and in the 77 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Walmyr Donatello. Walmyr Donatello dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 2-1. In the 84th minute, Marco de Barros fired away an extremely well hit free kick, but unfortunately the ball went just outside to the right hand side of Walmyr Donatello. In the 87th minute, João Francisco Monteiro left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Bonzao SS fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 3-1. João Francisco Monteiro received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 91st minute. Walmyr Donatello tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. After a defensive mix-up in Moiboada EC's zone, Marco de Barros stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Walmyr Donatello came out of the goal and Marco de Barros tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Walmyr Donatello made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Marco de Barros in the 95th minute of play.
