In the 18thth minute of the game Luiz Fernando Lira who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Luiziania's Nestor Furtado was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. After 22 minutes, Pedro Augusto Jacinto made it 3-0 with a short kick to the right side. Luiziania's Nestor Furtado tried to save the shot but he was too slow in reacting to the shot. There were very few away supporters still in the ground by the end of the match. Most of them had left early, disgusted by the way their team had been torn apart. Fomento fully deserved thier win.
