Spectators: 5000 (Terracing: 4000, Seating: 1000, VIP seats: 0) Angelo Montenegro made the kick off and thus started the match. A hard shot 3 in the game by Luís Fabiano Senna from a close distance when the talented Guga Tróia managed to make a qualified save. Caracol's players were relieved. 6 minutes into the match, Caracol's goal looked a bit too open when Tony Cordeiro came free, but Guga Tróia reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Guga Tróia took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from José Maria Messias, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 12th minute the ball was on its way in behind Caracol's goalkeeper Guga Tróia, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. In the 13th match minute, Caracol was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Jonas Zanette to maneuver through the defense. Tony Cordeiro received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 15th minute. Guga Tróia tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Tony Cordeiro recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 17th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. 18 minutes into the game, Focus Team FC's Tony Cordeiro nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Guga Tróia made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 1-0. In the 22nd minute, Róbson Porto hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Tony Cordeiro recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 24th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. José Augusto Tasso fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 25th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Guga Tróia having to interfere. Marquinhos Moreno made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Angelo Montenegro in the 28th minute of play. Luís Fabiano Senna sent away a hard shot on goal in the 30th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. When José Augusto Tasso came up free with the goalie in the 31st minute, the Focus Team FC fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that José Augusto Tasso couldn't finish the play. 33 minutes into the game, José Maria Messias lined in a short shot 2-0 behind a frustrated Guga Tróia. José Augusto Tasso received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 39th minute. Guga Tróia tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. The home fans were very happy to see their team leading 3-0 at half-time.

The wind increased when José Augusto Tasso made the kick off in the second half. The Focus Team FC fans' excitement grew in the 60th match minute when Focus Team FC's Tony Cordeiro looked to have a clear shot with the ball near the goal. The shot wasn't hard, but the ball still rolled over the goal line to make it 4-0 before the goalkeeper had a chance to intervene. If José Augusto Tasso had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 63rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. Caracol's Guga Tróia played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Luís Fabiano Senna in the 66th minute of play. After 67 minutes of play, Focus Team FC's José Augusto Tasso made it 5-0 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Guga Tróia was left in no man's land by his defense there! The audience was convinced that Luís Fabiano Senna's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Guga Tróia was relentless in the 71st minute of the game. In the 74th match minute, Caracol was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Fernandinho Sabóia to maneuver through the defense. After a defensive mix-up in Caracol's zone, Luís Fabiano Senna stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Guga Tróia came out of the goal and Luís Fabiano Senna tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. After having played for 79 minutes, Luís Fabiano Senna managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Focus Team FC's supporters crossed their fingers, but Luís Fabiano Senna was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Caracol's Tony Zilles shoveled away a really nice long shot in the 85th minute of play. The shot was stopped by Marquinhos Moreno but with some difficulty. Guga Tróia stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Luís Fabiano Senna's shot from short distance in the 90th minute. 91 minutes into the match, Focus Team FC's goal looked a bit too open when Angelo Montenegro came free, but Marquinhos Moreno reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. There was no doubt that Focus Team FC were the better team. Focus Team FC's players enjoyed the ovations of the crowd after the victory.
