Gilberto Alves kicked well hit freekick during the 3rd minute of the match. Thomás Baptista made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Gil Fonseca in the 7th minute of play. Sucui's André Luiz Nascimento proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 11th minute of the match, managed to save Sucui from getting a goal against them. 12 minutes into the match, Sucui's goalkeeper André Luiz Nascimento had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Tiago Gabriel Vieira. In the 15th minute the ball was on its way in behind Sucui's goalkeeper André Luiz Nascimento, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. With a little luck, Sucui's André Luiz Nascimento got control of the ball when Tiago Gabriel Vieira tried to sneak it across the goal line. After a defensive mix-up in Sucui's zone, Vito Nunes stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. André Luiz Nascimento came out of the goal and Vito Nunes tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. A collision led to Tariana getting a freekick after 24 minutes play. Tiago Gabriel Vieira hit a great ball. Geovanni Severo struck a weak shot in the 28th minute. Thomás Baptista didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Sucui. Tiago Gabriel Vieira received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 35th minute. André Luiz Nascimento tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. The audience was convinced that Vito Nunes's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but André Luiz Nascimento was relentless in the 36th minute of the game. After 37 played minutes Sucui got a freekick which was hit by Gilberto Alves. In the 40th minute of the match Tariana got a corner. Sucui's goalie ran out to the linesman to protest the call, but the linesman resolutely pointed his flag at the cornerflag. Roberto Cosme ran over to the corner to take the kick.

Gil Fonseca sent away a hard shot on goal in the 52nd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Tiago Gabriel Vieira fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 57th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without André Luiz Nascimento having to interfere. A collision led to Tariana getting a freekick after 59 minutes play. Tiago Mattos hit a great ball. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Tiago Gabriel Vieira in the 61st minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck André Luiz Nascimento prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Vito Nunes took the ball and in the 64 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised André Luiz Nascimento. André Luiz Nascimento dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 1-0. Tiago Gabriel Vieira blasted a shot towards the goal in the 72nd minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without André Luiz Nascimento having to make a save. Juvenal Amorim charged in rather forcefully in the 73rd minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Juvenal Amorim the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. In the 73rd minute, Juvenal Amorim hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Geovanni Severo received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 80th minute. Thomás Baptista tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. The audience thought a goal was coming when Geovanni Severo got free with Thomás Baptista in the 83rd minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. 84 minutes into the match, Sucui's goal looked a bit too open when Vito Nunes came free, but André Luiz Nascimento reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Gil Fonseca fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 85th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Thomás Baptista having to interfere. If Geovanni Severo had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 94th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. The supporters of Sucui booed when Tariana was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 95 match minutes in a wonderful position. Tiago Mattos didn't get a good kick on the ball. Geovanni Severo received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 97th minute. Thomás Baptista tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Many of Sucui's supporters were seen to leave the ground early as it became clear their team was going to lose. Sucui may have spent more time on the ball, but Tariana were more willing to take their chances and they walked away with the win.
