Amadeu da Silveira was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. A collision led to Basuca getting a freekick after 20 minutes play. Luizinho Arósio hit a great ball. Evaristo Figueiredo showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Elder Cabral, who was totally free with the ball in the 22nd minute. Basuca's Amadeu da Silveira played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Nuno Cerezo in the 34th minute of play. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Yuri Furlan during the 37th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. A collision led to Basuca getting a freekick after 37 minutes play. Yuri Furlan hit a great ball. 4-0 became the score in the 38th minute when Nuno Cerezo elegantly shot the ball into goal just under the crossbar. Yuri Furlan fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 43rd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Evaristo Figueiredo having to interfere. No-one was surprised that the home team were leading 4-0 at half-time.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Luizinho Arósio made a kick off. After 51 played minutes Basuca got a freekick which was hit by Geraldo do Vale. Jairo Matorin could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 55th minute of the match, but Evaristo Figueiredo made a huge save. Amadeu da Silveira showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Léo Vale in the 57th minute of the match. Evaristo Figueiredo took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Luizinho Arósio, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Sílvio Luiz Sá scored 5-0 in the 60th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Amadeu da Silveira, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. Evaristo Figueiredo was in exellent shape and made a fantastic save when he, in the 97th minute of the match, managed to get hold of the ball after a long shot from Geraldo do Vale. There was no doubt that Panela were the better team. Panela's players enjoyed the ovations of the crowd after the victory.
