Spectators: 5000 (Terracing: 4000, Seating: 1000, VIP seats: 0) Dark clouds were building up when the players entered the field. None of the them looked very eager to play. Léo Vale started the match with the kick off. Ricardo de Andrade in the 3rdth minute had a little luck and got a chance for a shot in front of the goal. Without hesitation aimed to the right of Evaristo Figueiredo, who managed to lunge to the right direction and made a save. 5 minutes into the match, Jardel Sampaio had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Evaristo Figueiredo. Panela's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Jardel Sampaio was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 1-0. After 8 minutes of play, Panela's Nuno Cerezo made it 1-1 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. José Vítor Velloso was left in no man's land by his defense there! In the 14th minute, Sílvio Luiz Sá hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. With a little luck, Panela's Evaristo Figueiredo got control of the ball when Juninho Costa tried to sneak it across the goal line. Evaristo Figueiredo made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Juninho Costa in the 17th minute of play. Faustão Terra came free with the goalkeeper in the 21st minute of the match, and shot straight on target. The shot was a little too simple and Evaristo Figueiredo could save by the left post. Evaristo Figueiredo showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Juninho Costa, who was totally free with the ball in the 24th minute. 25 minutes into the match, Panela's goalkeeper Evaristo Figueiredo had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Jardel Sampaio. 1-2 became the score in the 26th minute when Léo Vale elegantly shot the ball into goal just under the crossbar. In the 32nd minute, Sílvio Luiz Sá hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Mané Teles hit a great freekick 34 minutes into the match. Evaristo Figueiredo made a fantastic save in the 36th minute, when Faustão Terra sent off a good shot on target. 38 minutes into the match, Licania AD's goal looked a bit too open when Nuno Cerezo came free, but José Vítor Velloso reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Panela's Evaristo Figueiredo played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Jardel Sampaio in the 39th minute of play. 41 minutes into the game, Sílvio Luiz Sá was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Panela's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Licania AD the free kick. Sílvio Luiz Sá hit a great freekick 41 minutes into the match. 46 minutes into the match, Panela's goal looked a bit too open when Paulo de Brito came free, but Evaristo Figueiredo reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Evaristo Figueiredo was out of position in the 47 minute of play, and Jardel Sampaio capitalized on the mistake with a soft shot into the goal. Jardel Sampaio really showed his touch with that goal: 2-2. After the first half the score was level. The break gave the players a chance to catch their breath, whilst the managers went over the tactics with them again.

In the 58th minute Paulo de Brito shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Evaristo Figueiredo saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. 60 minutes into the match, Panela's goal looked a bit too open when Jardel Sampaio came free, but Evaristo Figueiredo reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 60th minute, Evaristo Carneiro hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. In the 62nd minute, Léo Vale left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Panela fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 2-3. After 66 played minutes, Licania AD's Erik Souza shot from a long distance, and at first it looked like the ball was going into the goal, but the goalkeeper Evaristo Figueiredo came through and got his fingers on the ball before it flew over the goal line. He then quickly gripped the ball tighter before the forwards in Licania AD reached it. The supporters of Licania AD booed when Panela was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 67 match minutes in a wonderful position. Flavinho Guedes didn't get a good kick on the ball. In the 68th minute, Armando Trigo got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Evaristo Figueiredo made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Jardel Sampaio in the 69th minute of play. 73 minutes into the game, Licania AD's Paulo de Brito nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Evaristo Figueiredo made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 3-3. 78 minutes into the match, Juninho Costa had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Evaristo Figueiredo. Panela's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Juninho Costa was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 4-3. Evaristo Figueiredo was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. José Vítor Velloso made an important save on a dangerous shot by Léo Vale in the 93rd minute. Léo Vale's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but José Vítor Velloso read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 98th minute of play. When the referee ended the match the Licania AD players were able to celebrate. They had won a fair victory and recieved the ovations of their fans.
