After 33 played minutes Jiricos FC got a freekick which was hit by Sidnei Loureiro. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Powell Guidon in the 34th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Wilson Teles prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Wilson Teles showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Powell Guidon, who was totally free with the ball in the 39th minute. The throw-in from Diogo Maciel in the 41st minute of the game was unfortunally taken care of by Eletro Power FC's Benedito Linares. In the 45th minute, Hugo Moraes got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. The crowd was extremely unhappy with the home team's performance in the first half. They were losing 0-1.

The Jiricos FC fans cheered their team off the field, for while Eletro Power FC had put up a good fight, they were unable to come out of the game with any points to show for their effort.
