Egídio Arósio succeeded to score despite a near miss that spronge from right pole into the goal to 1-0 in the 5th playminute. Roberto de Mendonça took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Rodolfo Jacinto, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Egídio Arósio who was well placed in front of the goal fired away a dangerous shot that in the 11thth minute tested the skills of Roberto de Mendonça when he managed to save the team from getting behind. Roberto de Mendonça was in the perfect position, and the defense had done a good job marking him, but Rodolfo Jacinto showcased his skills and made a perfect shot to score 2-0 in the 16 minute of play. Roberto de Mendonça made an important save on a dangerous shot by Rodolfo Jacinto in the 19th minute. Roberto de Mendonça stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Rodolfo Jacinto's shot from short distance in the 21st minute. Iraty Sport Club's Roberto de Mendonça proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 25th minute of the match, managed to save Iraty Sport Club from getting a goal against them. 26 minutes into the game, Rodolfo Jacinto recieved a splendid long ball, split the defenders, and gently placed the ball to the left of Roberto de Mendonça. Rodolfo Jacinto showed that you don't have to tear a hole in the net to score, 3-0. Telmo Gonçalves kicked well hit freekick during the 31st minute of the match. When Cova AD's Rodolfo Jacinto in the 32nd minute got a chance for a shot 32nd didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Iraty Sport Club's goalie prevented a goal. Rodolfo Jacinto received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 35th minute. Egídio Arósio took the ball and in the 39 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Roberto de Mendonça. Roberto de Mendonça dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 4-0. Roberto de Mendonça was in the perfect position, and the defense had done a good job marking him, but Rodolfo Jacinto showcased his skills and made a perfect shot to score 5-0 in the 42 minute of play. With his leg Roberto de Mendonça managed to avoid a goal in the 47thth minute, when Cova AD's Egídio Arósio fired away a shot with a lot of spin towards his right hand side. No-one was surprised that the home team were leading 6-0 at half-time.

54 minutes into the match, Cova AD's Egídio Arósio sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Roberto de Mendonça narrowly saved just below the crossbar. Iraty Sport Club's Telmo Gonçalves got his second yellow card of the match in the 54th minute. The referee ordered Telmo Gonçalves off the ground. After 55 played minutes Iraty Sport Club got a freekick which was hit by Telmo Gonçalves. Silvinho Vergílio hit a great freekick 62 minutes into the match. After 68 minutes of play, Cova AD's Egídio Arósio made it 7-0 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Roberto de Mendonça was left in no man's land by his defense there! Roberto de Mendonça didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Egídio Arósio went, in the 71st minute, to the upper right corner, 8-0 was the resulting score. If Rodolfo Jacinto had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 76th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 80th minute the ball was on its way in behind Iraty Sport Club's goalkeeper Roberto de Mendonça, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. Iraty Sport Club's Roberto de Mendonça played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Rodolfo Jacinto in the 81st minute of play. 83 minutes into the match, Egídio Arósio notched a goal, 9-0, to the right of Iraty Sport Club's Roberto de Mendonça. Roberto de Mendonça was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. An unexpectedly hard shot by Rodolfo Jacinto in the 88th minute of play forced Iraty Sport Club's goalkeeper Roberto de Mendonça to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. A collision led to Iraty Sport Club getting a freekick after 89 minutes play. João Abreu hit a great ball. If Rodolfo Jacinto had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 91st minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. After a rather tough play, Iraty Sport Club's João Abreu got a free kick in the 92nd minute. Egídio Arósio received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 93rd minute. Roberto de Mendonça tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Cova AD's supporters were delighted with their team's performance and swarmed onto the pitch at the end of the match to celebrate the victory with the players.
