Spectators: 5000 (Terracing: 4000, Seating: 1000, VIP seats: 0) Iraty Sport Club's Roberto de Mendonça played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Edmílson Cerezo in the 10th minute of play. In the 11th minute Thiago Maia shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Roberto de Mendonça saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Thiago Maia fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 13th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Roberto de Mendonça having to interfere. After a rather tough play, Escalvado's Edmílson Cerezo got a free kick in the 15th minute. Patrick Lopez's late challenge caught a Escalvado's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Patrick Lopez helped the player get up and apologised. After 18 played minutes Iraty Sport Club got a freekick which was hit by Patrick Lopez. In the 22nd minute the ball was on its way in behind Escalvado's goalkeeper Joaquim Seco, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. After having played for 23 minutes, João Abreu managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Iraty Sport Club's supporters crossed their fingers, but João Abreu was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Christiano Abraão fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 26th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Joaquim Seco having to interfere. Roberto de Mendonça showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Alberto Severo, who was totally free with the ball in the 32nd minute. Through an outstanding action, after 36 minutes, Roberto de Mendonça successfully got his hands on the ball before it slid into the goal at the right post. Edmílson Cerezo fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 38th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Roberto de Mendonça having to interfere. If Christiano Abraão had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 42nd minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. Thiago Maia's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Roberto de Mendonça read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 44th minute of play. The crowd was extremely unhappy with the home team's performance in the first half. They were losing 0-2.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Thiago Maia was the one to do the kick off. The supporters of Iraty Sport Club booed when Escalvado was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 52 match minutes in a wonderful position. Alfredo Eger didn't get a good kick on the ball. Christiano Abraão recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 53rd minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Edmílson Cerezo sent away a hard shot on goal in the 55th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. 57 minutes into the match, Thiago Maia had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Roberto de Mendonça. Iraty Sport Club's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Thiago Maia was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 1-2. Alfredinho da Rocha kicked well hit freekick during the 84th minute of the match. João Abreu received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 86th minute.
