Tião Rosa in the 7thth minute had a little luck and got a chance for a shot in front of the goal. Without hesitation aimed to the right of Wilton Toledo, who managed to lunge to the right direction and made a save. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Ademar Tande in the 9th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Wilton Toledo saved corinthians paranaense from getting behind. Wilton Toledo made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Ademar Tande in the 12th minute of play. A collision led to corinthians paranaense getting a freekick after 19 minutes play. Nelsinho de Amaral hit a great ball. Tanquinho AD's Ademar Tande got a good chance for a goal in the 20th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Aluísio Cardoso kicked well hit freekick during the 25th minute of the match. After recieving a nice pass, Tanquinho AD's Mário Leal tried to score from far away in the 26th minute, but the ball went over the crossbar. In the 27th minute Ademar Tande shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Wilton Toledo saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. When Tião Rosa came up free with the goalie in the 29th minute, the Tanquinho AD fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Tião Rosa couldn't finish the play. When the match had gone on for 37 minutes, Ademar Tande took a quick shot and it went in 1-0 without a chance for Wilton Toledo to make any attempt to save it. Ulysses Trancoso's late challenge caught a corinthians paranaense's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Ulysses Trancoso helped the player get up and apologised. 47 minutes into the game, Fabiano Nogueira was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Tanquinho AD's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave corinthians paranaense the free kick. In the 47th minute, Fabiano Nogueira hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. All the noise was coming from the home fans when the whistle went for half-time. The home team had fought hardest to put themselves in a deserved lead.

Tião Rosa struck a weak shot in the 53rd minute. Wilton Toledo didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Tanquinho AD. After some fancy dribbling in the 55th minute, Tião Rosa managed to get in a good position for a shot. Tanquinho AD's supporters rose to their feet, but Tião Rosa was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Wilton Toledo breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. The supporters of Tanquinho AD booed when corinthians paranaense was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 61 match minutes in a wonderful position. Perivaldo Neto didn't get a good kick on the ball. Perivaldo Neto hit a great freekick 63 minutes into the match. After 65 played minutes corinthians paranaense got a freekick which was hit by André Luiz de Godoy. 68 minutes into the match, corinthians paranaense's goal looked a bit too open when Tião Rosa came free, but Wilton Toledo reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Delfim Negri made a fantastic save in the 69th minute, when Fabiano Mandrak sent off a good shot on target. When the match had gone on for 71 minutes, Ademar Tande put it in 3-0 from a short distance just to the right of Wilton Toledo. Ademar Tande sent away a hard shot on goal in the 75th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. An unexpected shot in the 77th minute by Fabiano Mandrak got the crowd on their feet, but to their dismay it went out on the left side. Delfim Negri came out of the goal in the 80th minute to try and stop a shot by corinthians paranaense's Fabiano Mandrak. But to his dismay, Fabiano Mandrak quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 3-1. In the 84th minute the ball was on its way in behind Tanquinho AD's goalkeeper Delfim Negri, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. Fabiano Mandrak sent away a hard shot on goal in the 87th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. In the 96th minute Ademar Tande shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Wilton Toledo saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. The referee blew his whistle, and the match came to a close. The players exchanged shirts and headed down the tunnel. The Tanquinho AD fans cheered their team off the field, for while corinthians paranaense had put up a good fight, they were unable to come out of the game with any points to show for their effort.
