The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. Basílio Reis came free with the goalkeeper in the 2nd minute of the match, and shot straight on target. The shot was a little too simple and Zachary Przybylo could save by the left post. 5 minutes into the game, Juninho da Silva cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 0-1. Dé Jacinto was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. Juninho da Silva recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 10th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Dé Jacinto took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Raimundo Catarinense, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Reynaldo Coutinho scored 0-2 in the 13th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Dé Jacinto, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. If Raimundo Catarinense had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 18th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Juninho da Silva might have been able to make a better finish in the 22nd minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Dé Jacinto. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Juninho da Silva ran back to his position shaking his head. Cauã Moura kicked well hit freekick during the 23rd minute of the match. The audience was convinced that Juninho da Silva's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Dé Jacinto was relentless in the 24th minute of the game. GUADALUPE C.C's Dé Jacinto played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Reynaldo Coutinho in the 25th minute of play. Dé Jacinto showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Juninho da Silva in the 28th minute of the match. Dé Jacinto didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Reynaldo Coutinho went, in the 29th minute, to the upper right corner, 0-3 was the resulting score. When Hélio Alvarenga fell near the penalty area in the 32nd minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored GSA 04 FBMZ-FCCMZ's protests and gave Hélio Alvarenga a yellow card for diving instead. After 33 played minutes GSA 04 FBMZ-FCCMZ got a freekick which was hit by Hélio Alvarenga. After a rather tough play, GUADALUPE C.C's Diogo Carvalho got a free kick in the 37th minute. After some fancy dribbling in the 40th minute, Juninho da Silva managed to get in a good position for a shot. GSA 04 FBMZ-FCCMZ's supporters rose to their feet, but Juninho da Silva was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Dé Jacinto breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. GSA 04 FBMZ-FCCMZ's Hélio Alvarenga got a good chance for a goal in the 41st minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when André Luiz Pereira stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. In the 52nd minute, Stelian Dragușin hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Juninho da Silva fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 58th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Dé Jacinto having to interfere. GSA 04 FBMZ-FCCMZ's Zachary Przybylo played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Basílio Reis in the 60th minute of play. Dé Jacinto made a fantastic save in the 63rd minute, when Reynaldo Coutinho sent off a good shot on target. Juninho da Silva's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Dé Jacinto read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 66th minute of play. After a rather tough play, GUADALUPE C.C's Basílio Reis got a free kick in the 68th minute. Dé Jacinto was a little too slow when Hélio Alvarenga got a fine hit on the ball which went right into the goal in the 71st minute. The score was now 0-4. Juninho da Silva received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 75th minute. Dé Jacinto tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. In the 76th minute, Reynaldo Coutinho fired away a shot on goal. He put a little to much spin on the ball and sent it just wide of the right post. In the 78th minute, Telmo Alvarenga hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Décio Aguiar received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 82nd minute. Dé Jacinto tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Juninho da Silva's shot when he came free in front of the goal in the 84thth minute, Dé Jacinto skillfully showed off with a save to what seemed to be an obvious goal. Dé Jacinto didn't succeed in stopping the ball in the 86th minute, which inside left pole to 0-5. A collision led to GUADALUPE C.C getting a freekick after 90 minutes play. Cauã Moura hit a great ball. In the 93rd minute, Reynaldo Coutinho left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The GSA 04 FBMZ-FCCMZ fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 0-6. The GUADALUPE C.C fans had already started to leave before the final whistle blew. GSA 04 FBMZ-FCCMZ were clearly better and deserved to take the win.
