Júnior Proença was frozen by the shot and now it was 0-2. 13 minutes into the game, Betão Vianna was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Florence Club's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave A.A. Ponte Preta the free kick. Florence Club's defense didn't have a chance, in the 15th minute, when Lucas Cabral scored to the left of an out of position Deivid Cavalcante, making the score, 1-2. Deivid Cavalcante showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Lucas Cabral in the 18th minute of the match. 19 minutes into the match, Lucas Cabral dribbled the ball past the defender and swiftly kicked the ball to the left of Deivid Cavalcante, 2-2. Tibúrcio Guerra succeeded to score despite a near miss that spronge from right pole into the goal to 3-2 in the 22nd playminute. Everyone was convinced a goal was close when A.A. Ponte Preta's Lucas Cabral in the 27th minute lifted the ball towards the upper right corner, but Deivid Cavalcante was perfectly placed and prevented a goal for Florence Club through an amazing save. In the 28th minute, Lucas Cabral ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Deivid Cavalcante was frozen by the shot and now it was 4-2. When Adam Nigbor came up free with the goalie in the 31st minute, the A.A. Ponte Preta fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Adam Nigbor couldn't finish the play. A.A. Ponte Preta's Lucas Cabral got a good chance for a goal in the 32nd minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. When Lucas Cabral came up free with the goalie in the 34th minute, the A.A. Ponte Preta fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Lucas Cabral couldn't finish the play. After a defensive mix-up in Florence Club's zone, Ziemowit Percha stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Deivid Cavalcante came out of the goal and Ziemowit Percha tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Through an outstanding action, after 38 minutes, Deivid Cavalcante successfully got his hands on the ball before it slid into the goal at the right post. In the 40th minute, Lucas Cabral got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Deivid Cavalcante took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Lucas Cabral, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Dito Barral hit a great freekick 44 minutes into the match. The home fans were very happy to see their team leading 4-2 at half-time.
Júnior Proença made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Luizão Vargas in the 53rd minute of play. In the 61st match minute, Florence Club was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Betão Vianna to maneuver through the defense. Deivid Cavalcante took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Lucas Cabral, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Adam Nigbor took the ball and in the 66 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Deivid Cavalcante. Deivid Cavalcante dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 5-2. The crowd rose to their feet as Florence Club's Luizão Vargas slotted home a wonderful shot that went in to the left of Júnior Proença. That made the score 5-3 after 72 minutes of play. In the 77th minute, Remo Maia hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Florence Club's Deivid Cavalcante played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Lucas Cabral in the 78th minute of play. With a little luck, A.A. Ponte Preta's Júnior Proença got control of the ball when Adrianinho Brasil tried to sneak it across the goal line. Dito Barral kicked well hit freekick during the 87th minute of the match. In the 90th match minute, Florence Club was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Dito Barral to maneuver through the defense. In the 95th minute, Lucas Cabral ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Deivid Cavalcante was frozen by the shot and now it was 6-3. The referee blew his whistle, and the match came to a close. The players exchanged shirts and headed down the tunnel. The A.A. Ponte Preta fans cheered their team off the field, for while Florence Club had put up a good fight, they were unable to come out of the game with any points to show for their effort.
